"Feb. snow and rainstorms caused a large ice dam to form on our North side roof, and we had water damage in both the master bathroom and the family room.
Both ceilings had water stains--and both were cathedral ceilngs--high and difficult to reach.  We also had some cracked plaster in the corner of the family room from settling,  as well as one corner in the kitchen. The very top of the ceiling in the master bath had some loosening of the drywall tape and "mud", and since we were at it, I asked them to include this, as well as a cleaning and replacement of light bulbs in the kitchen fan--again, too high for us to get to.  Inspection of the bathroom water stain proved to be not from the ice dam, but a problem with the installation of the bathroom fan and light by the original owners--use of too small a unit and no insulation, causing lots of condensation which leaked down and stained the ceiling.  Both rooms would need repainting of the ceilings and the family room needed a total repaint.  Touch-up of the bathroom wall where some nails had popped and needed recovering would be enough. They matched our 9 year old paint perfectly.
The men arrived punctually each of the three days it required.  They moved and/or covered furnishings and carpeting both in the rooms and in the hallways to protect  them and were very careful to keep dust and dirt to a minimum, and cleaned everything up each night so we could resume normal  living.  They did a great job with everything, and installed a new fan unit of the correct size in the bathroom--cleaned up my kitchen ceiling, and made the fan/light unit look like new. The men were courteous and good at their jobs and did everything we had asked.
Our house looks great again, and we are very satisfied with the company, their estimator Phil; Joe, their supervisor, and his crew.
We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

"These guys are great! The man who came to estimate the job had a medical emergency after leaving our home leaving the company very short handed. His partner not only got the information from our site visit but got our job scheduled within a week! He also pointed out some very ergent safety issues with our flexible gas line installed in 2000, but also saw an issue with our water heater put in by a subcontractor from Columbia Gas. Not only was the water heater not installed properly putting our safety at risk then we found out it was NEVER inspected by the city! They showed up on time and completed the job on time within their quote. They cleaned up after the job and were pleasent and curteous. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a plumbing job to be done without being taken to the cleaners."

"Excellent work.  Pacific Stone & Tile kept in touch throughout the entire job--the person in the office who handled the communication was very responsive to questions and scheduling details. The granite is of high quality. The installation is great, so that a seam is barely visible.  When the tiles for the backsplash were the incorrect color (white rather than cream), they removed what had been installed and remedied the mistake (they ordered the correct color and scheduled another date to come out and finish the job).  Very happy with the final results!

"It was GREAT from start to finish.  The head of the company came out to do the estimate, and provided a very clear explanation of how the work would go and what our options might be.  They measured a nd ordered the windows, and scheduled the install for the specific dates we wanted.  When the date came, they did the work in a single day, and were professional and careful throughout the process.  All along, their office communication was clear and they were responsive and helpful.  The windows look wonderful and I think they will make a big difference in energy efficiency.  It was a terrific experience, and I'd highly recommend Vista.

"These guys are the greatest! They saved us a lot of money! We had a dumpster before the bullbag and for 3 tons of material and a week rental of the dumpster it cost us $486! We own the bullbag now, had a full bag - 3.5 tons - picked up and it was only $229! We didn't have any rental charges, excess weight fees, or anything! These guys did everything they said they would! "Called about leak Sunday morning. Plumber came out Monday, determined it needed replacement and notified Choice, who approved claim and permitted plumber to order new water heater. Thursday new water heater was installed. Was kept updated every day by both Choice and the plumber. Workers left my garage clean and I have hot water. Very satisfied and have recommended Choice Home Warranty on the Nextdoor app."

"Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."
