We have counted on him for remodels (primarily turning over vacant apartments), plumbing, flooring of all types, and general construction. He has done difficult, unpleasant jobs for us, like turning a rat-infested attic into a gorgeous finished extra living space, while charging very reasonable rates. He always looks for the most cost effective solution that addresses the issue. For example, when we told by a plumber we needed a re-pipe (who had just charged an exorbitant amount for a slab leak), Jim recommended and carried out a much simpler repair at a small fraction of any other estimate. Most important to us is that Jim has always been honest, looking out for OUR best interest in giving his advice. We never once felt overcharged for anything. He is not only extremely skilled and knowledgeable, he is a consummate professional with a rare brand of integrity."

"We are very pleased with our whole house remodel performed by our contractor, Rick Simmons of Coastline Construction. We received four bids from various contractors which were all competitive. We chose Rick for various reasons including that he was easy to communicate with and that he uses his own very skilled employees, no subcontractors. We completely remodeled the kitchen, the main and secondary bathroom, laundry room and installed new flooring throughout that required grinding and leveling the concrete slab. Every wall and ceiling was retextured and painted. It was a HUGE job. Rick is a hands-on contractor who stopped by the house 3-4 times a week (sometimes everyday!). Rick kept us up to date on scheduling and every addition we made to the scope of work was clearly documented in change orders that we discussed with him. We had a good idea of what we wanted design-wise and the end result reflects that vision."

"From drab to fabulous! Eco home Builders did a fantastic job on my main bathroom remodel. I'm a Real Estate Broker and have gone through countless remodels and contractors over the past two decades. Eden did a wonderful job managing the project. Always communicating and being available through the whole project was a huge plus. The contractors did an outstanding job and really paid attention to detail. A lot of large tile pieces went into this project, and I was in very impressed with their skill. We were also impressed with their cabinet maker who did a great job basically building a beautiful piece of art. The project basically went off without a flaw on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Eco Home Builders to anyone thinking of doing any sort of remodel project, I rarely give reviews, but in this case, I felt it was necessary to give kudos that are well deserved. "Excellent. My house is 70 years old & really needed to be updated. This was a scary process for me. I’ve never been able to afford to hire anyone to do any kind of remodeling & was scared of stories from family & friends who have been ripped off having any work done on their houses. I was really impressed with the ideas Dereck had for my bathrooms & especially for my kitchen which made no sense. He took me shopping to pick out materials & with his knowledge & expertise guided me with my choices for tile, flooring, fixtures, etc. I love all of the men who did the work. They know what they are doing & were really meticulous making sure that everything was done to perfection & they cleaned up after themselves everyday. This has been a very long process because of course they ran into problems with some of the plumbing & then had to repipe the house because there was no water pressure. The bathrooms & kitchen have all been totally gutted & redesigned. I love the way it’s all turned out & so glad I went through all this construction including the frustration at times LOL.It was totally worth it."

"We hired GWC (Gary Ward Contractor) to remodel our beachside efficiency condo in Long Beach, CA, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Gary completely transformed our compact space—gutting everything but the bathroom—and brought our vision to life with precision and craftsmanship. Working with our designer and architect, Gary opened up the main living area and installed a stunning, multifunctional Murphy bed system from Resource Furniture (Italy). It doubles as a desk and TV station by day and converts to a bed at night. To offset the loss of closet space, he built a gorgeous custom wardrobe with drawers, plus a built-in refrigerator that blends seamlessly into the cabinetry. He also handcrafted all the kitchen cabinets, installed quartzite countertops, a designer backsplash, new sink and faucet, and repainted the entire unit with great attention to detail. Gary’s work was impeccable—every line aligned, every feature functional. He navigated the complexities of working in a historic 1927 building with experience and care. We always felt he was committed to getting it right. We’d gladly hire GWC again and recommend him without hesitation. "As new house owners, (we previously lived in a one bedroom apartment in NYC) my wife and I wanted to replace the flooring and paint our entire house. We inquired with a few different companies, one of which was Ameriproj. Matt came over a few times (as we kept changing our minds on what we wanted) and gave us multiple quotes for the different things we wanted to do. He was extremely patient with us and answered all our questions in person, on phone calls and through texts. He was extremely responsive to us and that was a big reason why we ultimately decided to move forward with Matt. As part of our decision, we asked Matt why he didn't have many reviews on Angi’s List, and he mentioned he had started up fairly recently. The reviews he did have were great and we're really glad we went with Ameriproj. Matt is one of the friendliest and nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He was very helpful and professional every step of the way answering any questions we had, anytime we had them. He walked us through the process of picking different types of wood flooring, the type of paint and finish. He coordinated the flooring installation and painting team to come at the same time and work in different floors to make the entire job faster. Matt and his team were all very respectful as both my wife and I were working from home. He asked us before doing anything out of the ordinary to avoid crossing any boundaries. Matt gave us a lot of advice and pointed out many things to us even if it didn't benefit him. For a few things, he was able to help us (such as mounting a TV on the wall and installing a chandelier). The flooring team was super experienced and did the job in a day and a half. The painting took about 8 days to finish painting the entire house out of the 10 that he estimated for us at the beginning of the job. We had 2 floors, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, hallway, stairs, laundry room, walk in closet. They even worked on Labor Day just to finish the job faster. We also already had some furniture in the house, so the painters had to either move the furniture or paint around them. They finish painted the entire 2nd floor first before moving to the first so they can give us privacy which was nice, and they accommodated us wanting to paint our home office last so that we could work uninterrupted. The painters did not cut corners - they were very skilled and painted their butts off. Matt detail reviewed their work and pointed out things that needed to be fixed, which they did. They really took their time, meticulously painting between the drawers and behind obstacles, making sure every single part of the house was painted perfectly. Overall I had a great experience working with Matt and would definitely recommend Ameriproj to friends/family for future home renovation projects. Thank you Matt!"
