"When we were looking at designers to have our yard landscaped, we had no parameters, other than a budget, and a small space to work with. We looked at three, and gave them all full license to design something they felt would meet our needs. We went with Luxescapes for several reasons. Meghan took the time to find out what was important to us, her design was very thoughtful, well laid out, and incorporated things that made our space unique, yet spoke to the type of intimate surrounding we were trying to create. Luxescapes is a smaller company, which to us, meant that their hinged on the success of each and every job, and not just through volume of work. The details: Our budget was $40,000; they came in at $38,000. At the start of the project, Meghan asked a lot of questions about what was important to us, and what type of atmosphere we were looking for. She was very creative with our small space, keeping it functional and giving it a unique look. Luxescapes did a great job with the coordination of contractors for cement, electrical and gas. They managed everything and it was seamless. Luxescapes’ employees were extremely courteous, leaving the job site very neat every day, and even went above and beyond, helping my husband move heavy items out of the yard, before they began their work. Change orders were simple, well organized, and there were no surprises. They cut the base of the board and batten of the house exterior to fit the patio pavers. They were very precise with the grade, ensuring no water drainage issues. We were able to leverage Meghan’s creativity, saving us $4,000 in sculpture/artwork. Luxescapes designed a phenomenal grill inset, and were very attentive to detail with all of their work. In the end, the only thing we changed was the artificial grass area, which they obliged without issue. We couldn’t have been happier with Meghan and her crew. The results far exceeded our expectations and we love our outdoor space! We look forward to having them back to execute phase 2 of our project!"
