"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"provider arrived on time and after brief explanation of what I wanted done, he went to work right away in replacing old water shut off valves. Very professional, polite and made sure everything was cleaned-up.

"He arrived right on time, and fixed what I had previously paid another electrician to fix another ones shabby job. So hopefully, this time I was lucky. The price was a little over what I thought it should have been, but since everything is now working it was worth it. Also, the new fan I had bought to be installed was not working out of the box and he had to take it apart to attach a loose wire in order to get it working. So was better than having to take fan back to exchange it. Will definitely call him again if needed"

"There was an unexpected charge for punching a hole in the drywall and installing a five foot copper wire from nearest light switch box to feed to each of the 4 lights. There was a second upcharge to convert from 6 inch to the modern 4 inch diameter LED lights (expected). Unfortunately one of the workers started his work early failing to understand that 4 inch was to be installed, he cut a hole for 6 inch. Now the drywall has to be patched to close the hole. They were punctual, fast & cleaned up. There is more work to do, ie convert existing 6 inch incandescent down lights on the lower two floors, those total to about 15. This work was done on the third level. I would re-hire if these things were addressed."

"Work was done professionally. The gentleman had to make several trips to the hardware store to get the correct bulbs, but he did not charge me any extra time for the service."

"I gave power systems electric a call and was greeted by a very polite woman. I explained the work I wanted to have done. 14 can lights and 5 ceiling fans in my brand new home. My house is brand new built this year (2014) single story with direct attic access. Every room has a pre-installed J-box in the center of the room with wiring to the wall switch. It's a very easy job with no old ceiling fan to remove or wires to run/fish. She gave me a retail cost of $89 per can light and $75 per ceiling fan. There is a small discount for Angie's list customers of 10% which is nice but not big enough to see a big price differential. I explained a large job of this sort should require bulk deal pricing and she disagreed although to be fair she attempted to "talk to her husband" to get a better price. After a reasonable amount of time she called back bu the answer was no. The company is reputable and pleasant to talk to but don't expect reasonable pricing regardless of the amount of work you have."

"Precision was good. They do good work. They were really expensive to me because it took them forever to get the job done. They said they would be done in two days and it took them a week. It's a lot of money for me. They're a small company so they couldn't get back to you all of the time. They were professional. People take you at your word. They tell you they're going to get the work done at a certain time and how much it's going to cost, then they change the cost and it takes them twice as long."

"I left a message at 11 am and received a callback at 3:30 and spoke with Bob. He was very pleasant and enthusiastic and asked the standard questions: Do I own the home, do I plan to lease or buy, how did I hear about solar, etc.
I set an appt. for the next evening and I received a call to confirm the evening appt. the same day of the appt.
I met with Greg and he was very patient and answered all my questions. I tend to be a fairly technical person, so I began asking about the equipment they use, etc. He answered most of the questions completely, but he wasn't 100% on some of the questions about the process with my electrical company. Like most of the companies they offered an electrical upgrade at a very low price ~ $1500, monitoring, etc.
I soon found out that there are 3 options for inverters: micro, standard and power optimizers. Power optimizers and micro-inverters cost more and due to the fact my roof is all flat and pointed in a good direction the micro-inverters/power optimizers seemed to be a waste of money and increased the chance of reliability issues.
I felt good about the meeting and professionalism of the company but the price was so much higher than every other company that I just couldn't consider moving forward.
