"I had not had a working toilet for 7 months. I could not find a plumber in my area, Pagosa Springs, who would even talk to me about the job. No one returned my calls and one even hung up on me. VIP Plumbing told me what I needed to do and came on time and had the job done in under an hour. I now have my new toilet which is helping me no end. I am 76 years old, have movement issues and have my bathroom back instead of trying to navigate to the other end of the house at night. Thank you, VIP Plumbing."

"Tyler was key to my project, I live in Houston TX I could not find another contractor that was as sympathetic to my unit situation. He showed up on time and did the excavation work. He also is an excellent operator. Very much looking forward to doing more business with him. "

"No. He quoted by 956$, it ended up being 1,446. He did not finish the job. The bathtub that was installed needed drywall to make it reach the ceiling. He started that and then did not return. I gave him $400 to pay for expenses, the area was about 10 ft by 1 ft. That drywall and joint compound could not have cost more than 50$. He did not finish the job and then tried to say that I still owe 575$. Did not give me an itemized invoice. If he bought supplies and charged me for them, I am entitled for the leftovers which he did not leave any. After the first coat of joint compound, he did not return, I texted him a few times in the month and he was not able to come out to finish . I finished it myself, it's not rocket science."

FAQs for septic system repair projects in Ignacio, CO

Leach field failure can often occur due to a lack of proper maintenance, hydraulic overload, or environmental factors. When too much water enters the septic system—like running multiple large laundry loads back-to-back—it can overwhelm the leach field. Regular professional inspections, ongoing maintenance, and spacing out high-water-use activities help prevent failure.

A septic tank shows repair needs when noticeable symptoms arise around your home. Noticeable signs include strong sewage odors at fixtures, recurring pipe blockages, pooling water or damp patches near the leach field, and areas of unusually bright green or spongy grass. These indicators confirm that deteriorating components or clogs exist. Monitoring such signs and scheduling timely professional inspections prevents further costly damage.

Adhering to a strict, scheduled maintenance plan prevents septic system repairs. An annual inspection and a pump-out every three to five years safeguard your system’s performance. Additionally, only flushing waste and toilet paper, installing drain filters, keeping nonapproved items out of the system, and avoiding excessive water use help maintain your septic system’s health and efficiency.
