"I needed to repair the sewer/water line under my house. I contacted several plumbers, but felt most comfortable with Alb’s Brothers Plumbing. Francisco contacted me and provided a free inspection. He explained the problem thoroughly and what needed to be done to complete the job. He worked with my budget and was very understanding. Francisco was helpful, courteous and went the extra mile to complete the job. He repaired the pipe while it was raining and I’m sure past his working hours. I had a pleasant experience with Francisco and Alb’s Brothers Plumbing. I would recommend this company for all your plumbing needs!"

"I have used CPR plumbing twice now. Once for an emergency callout (on Father's day) and again today to fix a broken water heater thermostat / valve.
In both cases, Chad - a master plumber, came out to resolve my issues. For the emergency callout he was at my house in 45 minutes after I called. Today, I scheduled an appointment for the afternoon - I got a call before he left and he arrived on time.
For my water heater repair, I was initially surprised at the high quote given, however, after reviewing the (rather high) cost of the replacement part online, I consider it to be reasonable value - especially given that he had to drive out to a plumbing supply store on the other side of town to pick up the replacement.
On both occasions, he has taken the time to educate me on the correct preventive maintenance, and things to look for in regards to the issue at hand. He is both professional and friendly - and as noted above, a master plumber (not just an apprentice working under the "supervision" of a plumber who you never see).
Overall i've been impressed with the service i've receive and will continue to use CPR Plumbing.

"I took advantage of a coupon for $125 for two hours of electrical work, not knowing how long it would take to repair our kitchen light and exhaust fan. Our electric range had also broken in the last week, and I had a couple sconce light fixtures I needed to have installed. Rese and his assistant arrived early. They were professional and friendly. They quickly discovered that the wires in the old light fixture had burned up when we switched to fluorescent light bulbs and that the fan motor needed replacing. We had not yet purchased a new light fixture, so Rese gave my husband instructions on installing one, explaining that we are capable of doing that should pay him to do things we cannot do ourselves. They then installed the electric range, and even loaded the old one into my pickup truck. Finally they quickly installed the new light sconces. Then they asked, what else do you need done? My husband and I are hoping to put our house on the market this spring. So, after Rese had finished all of the electrical projects I had in mind, he volunteered to to an initial glance around for other electrical issues that might arise during an inspection.  Finally, Rese gave me great advice for recycling my old electric range (we got $12.25 at Acme Metals) and where to get the electric fan motor fixed. The next day, my husband and I managed to get our new kitchen light fixture installed and working. All in all it was an excellent experience."

FAQs for septic system repair projects in Dallas, TX

You should have your septic tank inspected at least once every one to three years. Regular inspections help catch minor issues before they become major problems, ensuring your system operates efficiently and extends its lifespan. You can also have your pro take care of routine septic system maintenance tasks at the same time as your inspection.

A septic tank must be inspected before buying a home to ensure the system is sound and compliant with local regulations. A comprehensive inspection evaluates all critical components and detects hidden faults that could lead to expensive repairs. This detailed review protects your investment by verifying the system’s integrity and reliability.

A septic tank's leach field fails when it encounters system overload and deteriorating conditions. Excess water usage beyond the field’s capacity and environmental stress lead to hydraulic failure. Aging infrastructure and insufficient maintenance further contribute to failure. Distributing water use evenly and scheduling regular maintenance, including enzyme treatments when necessary, preserve the leach field’s integrity.

A septic system lasts between 20 and 30 years. Steel tanks function for 15 to 20 years, concrete tanks operate for 20 to 40 years, and fiberglass or plastic tanks remain durable for 30 to 40 years. Consistent maintenance, including regular pumping and inspections, extends these lifespans by preventing buildup and structural damage, ensuring reliable long-term performance.

A failing septic system presents clear signs such as slow-draining fixtures, foul odors at or around the leach field, and overly green patches of grass. Additional indicators include persistent toilet flushing problems, standing water near the system, and noticeable gurgling noises from pipes. These symptoms reveal blockages, structural damage, or leaks. Immediate professional evaluation is essential to address these issues and prevent extensive repair costs.
