"Heart contacted me immediately - Even though it was on Easter Sunday. The technician performed the repairs satisfactorily. The only recommendation I would add is that I received 2 text messages, saying that two different technicians had been assigned this job, and they were both on the way. Plus, it was a little pricy for the parts and amount of time taken to complete the job."

"Can’t say enough about this company! When it was time to replace our aging furnace, Nicolas, the owner, spent over an hour conducting rigorous testing, explaining every piece of my system and trying to find the best solution for our home. Nicolas presented several options to me for purchasing a new furnace, explaining the pros and cons of each, and was honest with what my home did/didn’t need from a new system. Aether’s offerings were not just cheaper, they were at least 10k lower than the other quotes we’ve gotten from the big name HVAC competition in Denver! Their warranty coverage and included servicing was unmatched, and they went out of their way to find the most convenient payment options for us. The techs, Laramie and Liam, were prompt, kind, and went above and beyond, cleaning out our central duct for maximum airflow/quality while installing the new system. They answered every question I had and left the space cleaner than they found it. We will definitely be calling again!"

FAQs for water heater repair or service projects in Indian Hills, CO

Warning signs include fluctuating water temperatures, a pilot light that repeatedly goes out, unusual noises from the tank, or complete heating failure. You might also detect a rotten egg smell, indicating a potential gas leak, or notice water that never reaches the proper temperature. If your water heater is over eight years old and displaying these symptoms, the gas valve is a likely culprit. Professional inspection is recommended, especially if gas odors are present.

Water heater gas valves are not universally interchangeable. Each valve must match your specific water heater's make, model, and specifications. Important compatibility factors include gas type (natural gas vs. propane), BTU rating, connection types, and physical dimensions. Using an incorrect valve can result in poor performance, premature failure, or dangerous gas leaks. Always consult your water heater's documentation or a professional plumber to identify the appropriate replacement valve for your unit.
