"Western Rooter to the rescue again! I had a small underground leak which appeared to be due to a bad sprinkler valve. A sprinkler repair company determined that it was not a bad sprinkler valve and thought it was due to a leak in the main water line. Daniel and Alex dug down to find that the leak was coming from a very old (at least 36 years) broken pvc line. After much testing and head scratching to try to figure out where the water was coming from, they decided to "chase the pipe." After much digging, they found that the very old broken pvc pipe was hooked up to a sprinkler valve that was buried 18 inches underground that had not been capped--only turned off. Roots from a nearby tree had opened the valve which caused the leak--crazy! The current sprinkler system has been the same one since we moved into the house in 1988. It took 36 years for the underground leak to occur!"

He not only took care of the main issue he came in for, he checked all the other gas pipes and even fixed our water heater (when he found something was wrong with it) and measured the water gage and didn't even charge us extra! "My gas line underneath my not that old concrete and brick back yard was leaking. Called 6 people to give me quote. Most of them wanted to dig up the concrete and put a gas pipe which would have destroyed my back yard and swimming pool decor. James is the only one that came with using a machine to go underneath the cement. He and his on contractor did have to break concrete but not in visible area. He took straight shot from the main line into the middle of my firepit.... i am an engineer but that was some craftsmenship. He showed up on time and finished on time. He is good at so many other things that he offered me so many good advice on how to put my firepit back again and also how to restart my pool heating. He also redid my firepit and he said it may take an hour but when i showed up he said it only took 35 minute so will charge you for the 35 minute. You can't get professionals like that. BTW the area was cleaned every day he worked. He wasn't the lowest priced but certainly was within 15% of the lowest bidder but the lowest bidder would have left my backyard in a mess and i would have to pay someone else to redo the concrete for 1ft by 80ft trench that would have certainly been more. I don't write reviews but this one is well deserved."

"I called at 8:15 a.m., explained that I had a leak between the water shut-off to the house and the connection pipe to the yard's sprinkler system.  They were able to schedule someone to be there between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. that day but said it would probably be between 9:00 and 9:30.  Sure enough, the plumber arrived about 9:15, quickly assessed the problem, explained clearly what needed to be done and how much it would cost, and did a fantastic job of replacing the leaking pipes and made the installation much better than it had been when originally installed. He also noticed that there was a leak between the faucet and where I attach the hose and he tightened and sealed this connection so it no longer leaks.   He cleaned everything up when he finished.  I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price and that this was truly a "professional craftsman".  Terrific job!"

"We had a hot spot on the floor and a high gas bill last month leading us to suspect a slab leak. We called several plumbing services and Personal Plumbing was able to come out the next day with their own slab leak tech. The techs were on time and took about three hours to find the leak and reroute and place pipe to repair. They were able to avoid more holes in the drywall by placing the pipe on the exterior garage side, extending us savings. They also showed great integrity by letting us know that any repair would also have to replace factory pressure valve that was no longer working (putting pressure on our system). We will definitely keep them in mind for any other plumbing work we need done!"
