"<p>They did a great job.  They came when they said they would, worked hard while they were here.  In the middle of the project, we had several days of bad weather during which they could not work.  The owner kept me informed about when they would be able to return. They appeared to pay attention to details and make every effort to give us a good result.  We found their price to be better than other contractors.  (Further, I had trouble getting some of the others to even return my call.)   If the price seems high to you, I can assure you that they work hard for that price.  They have trucks, special equipment, have to bring in a concrete truck, pay several workers, etc.  I felt as if they gave me good value for that money and the porch/sidewalk look good.  They also told me some dos and don'ts about how to care for it.  Finally, they were nice guys, which I always appreciate. </p> <p>They get booked up quickly, so if you need concrete work, I'd suggest calling them as far in advance as possible.  </p>"

"We initially contacted Jaco to fix a leveling issue with our driveway that was causing water to pool up. Josh Goodman came out and was very straight forward. He doubted that leveling the driveway would fix the issue. He suggested instead to install a Box Drain and run it into our current French Drain system. After a little more research we decided on a 3' long channel drain. It took a while from the initial contact in the Spring to getting an estimate in July but then the job was performed a month later in August. After the installation the Channel Drain worked perfectly. Also, the drain itself was installed very well. Our issue was with the installation of the plastic pipe which carried the water to our French Drain. The trench was dug unevenly then poorly filled. The result was a sharp dip all along the drain pipe; like a reverse "speed bump". Also where the pipe connected to the French Drain was not buried deep enough causing the pipe to be exposed. When I called Josh he came out to look at it then I heard nothing. A week later I called Josh and he said it looked fine to him. After a 5 minute discussion he agreed to send a crew out to fix it. 3 weeks later..no crew so my wife and I spent 4 hrs. relaying the drain pipe and filling it in properly. So, I give Jaco an A for the concept and the installation of the Channel Drain and an F for the installation of the drain pipe and overall Customer Service."

"I was very impressed with all aspects of this service.  A1 provided me a quote that was less than half of all other competitors, some of whom were not even willing to take the job.  They assured me it that their repairs would not damage a retaining wall that the sidewalk was next to.  They set a time and date and showed up precisely when they said they would and were completely finished 3 hours later, IN THE RAIN!  <br /> I have an exposed aggregate sidewalk that had several sections that were out of level 3" or more, plus a set of concrete steps that had sunk a few inches as well.  By the time A1 was finished, not only was everything completely level, but they had covered the holes they had drilled in the sidewalk and steps so thoroughly that even I couldn't tell where they were.  It was literally like new when they were done.  <br /> In summary, I could not have expected anything more from a company.  Very professional, relatively inexpensive compared to other options, courteous, punctual and a high quality work in every way.  I completely recommend A1 to anyone for sidewalk leveling and would definitely use them again.  <br /> <br />"

"It went great! They were very professional and were here when they said they would be and cleaned up behind themselves. We did have a minor leakage problem with the first rain, but we called and they were back here within a couple of days to fix the problem and we have had no leakage since. I was impressed that they handled the call back so quickly, which to me, says a lot about their integrity. The company that did our original waterproofing has left Kentucky and our "lifetime" transferable warranty is now void, so having been burned once we were a bit leery, but they proved to be a very reliable company. Would not hesitate to recommend or use them again."
