"I called All Weather to give me a quote for replacing my gas boiler. They set up a time for their salesperson to come over and give me a quote. The appointment was only a few days later and a man named Joe showed up on time. He spent some time with me, I told him I was looking for a new boiler and a new hot water heater, but I wanted to see what options I have (since I was debating going to a tankless water heater). He told me going indirect hot water tank is the best option and they always use this brand that's the "best one out there". Even though he may have been right, he didn't tend to my questions or concerns very well. I felt like he was getting annoyed that I had questions and eventually I just let him run the show just to get him out of my house faster. Especially when he gave me a quote of $8600, it was much higher than I was anticipating. One thing I really didn't like was when he said I'd have to get a permit since I live in an incorporated village, which would be an extra $500, meanwhile I already had another plumber tell me a permits only $200. So I went with another company. So even though I can't rate All Weather on their work quality, I didn't get a good feeling from their salesperson."

"Barbara was phenomenal. A true professional dedicated to her craft and excellent customer service. We had a custom toilet that stopped working, and a leaky faucet in the same bathroom. She reached out right away after requesting a quote through Angi, and she came the same day. At first she told us that the toilet required a part she’d have to order, and after fiddling with the faucet, recommended the 15 year-old fixture be replaced. I offered to purchase it from Home Depot or Lowe’s she agreed to come back to replace the old one and install it in 3 days. After she left, she called me back and asked if she can return because she figured out how she could try to fix the toilet with existing parts she had in her truck. She did it. The toilet is functioning better than it did before the problems began! She then returned 3 days later as promised to replace the bathroom faucet, a complicated project because of the cabinet structure that she stuck with and skillfully completed. On a personal note. We bonded once I asked about the name of the company, which her father, who founded the company, named after his Navy ship. My dad also served in the Navy. Barbara kept me regularly posted about when she’d arrive and the progress of the work. She was true to her word. I’d gladly paid her for her excellent work."

"This was probably my best experience on Angie's List. I woke up and noticed there was no hot water in the house. Went to the basement and noticed the hot water heater was leaking. I called up Advanced Professional Plumbing, told them what was going on and gave them the specs of the hot water heater. 20 minutes later a technician showed up (a very nice guy named Joey). "If you need any plumbing done, look no further. If you have a slab leak and you need the problem resolved, definitely don't waste your time looking elsewhere. We had the unfortunate experience, after receiving a water bill six times higher than usual, to learn that we had a slab leak. Different options were explained to us, no pressure was applied. Since our house is over 60 years old, we decided to have our entire first floor repiped rather than jackhammering the problem location and just replacing a small section of the pipe. Ryan M, Brandon, Ramon and Vinny began the project two days later. They were a superb team: professional, competent, courteous and considerate. A slab leak is an anxiety producing issue but Ryan M. managed to allay our fears. He is a combination master plumber and diplomat. Areas of sheetrock had to be cut in order to facilitate the repiping but it was done in a surgical manner. Our set up was a little more complicated because two zones were affected but that was not a problem for Varsity. The team arrived early every morning, worked the entire day and did a great job cleaning up before leaving. In addition to the slab leak repair, we had a combination boiler installed to replace our traditional set up ($800 rebate from National Grid) and some baseboard replaced. The entire project took three days. We have used Varsity for a number of plumbing and heating issues for over five years now, they never disappoint."
