"Anthony is the general contractor. He does the tear downs, the carpentry, plumbing, drywall, flooring, tile and electrical work. For jobs like painting and building the actual cabinets, he subcontracts those. Anthony has a colleague who aids him with the design work that kitchens can require. Her name is Lynn Austin. She was incredibly helpful. Her computer generated drawings helped us see exactly what the proposed changes would look like. She was also the go-between for the cabinet builders and the consultant for the cabinetry hardware and the backsplash tile. She and Anthony make a great team. Her company is Lynn Austin Home, Inc., and she is listed with Angie's List. During the process of taking bids on the remodel, Anthony was the only contractor who arranged a visit to a previous customer to showcase his work. We were impressed with his work and the satisfaction of the home owner. He proved to be a pleasant person to work with. He always did what he promised, completed his work in a timely fashion and left the work place as neat as possible each day. In between contracted work, Anthony accomplished several tasks on our honey-do list. He installed 4 new outdoor lights, fixed the doorbell, adjusted our wobbly toilet and made the sliding door open more smoothly. He delivered 2 of our used appliances to the next door neighbor. He loves being busy and has a true work ethic. One of his best qualities is trustworthiness. We actually were out of town for the first 3 weeks of this remodel, and when we returned he had accomplished a lot."

"This is my second time working with Dave in projects at my house. I first found him via Angie’s and he replaced the carpet for hardwood floor in three bedrooms of my new home. About a year later I noticed that the hardwood floor from living area was buckling. Turns out there was water intrusion that occurred via a window from the recent tropical storm Francis. Dave and his son did a timely and phenomenal job replacing the damage floors! My house looks just like it did (if not better) from when I first purchased the house. "Howard is a perfectionist, and his diligence and care are reflected in the final product. Everyone who walks through our house is immediately impressed with the craftsmanship of his work. Not only does he price his work very competitively, but he makes sure that you are absolutely thrilled in the end. While we hired Howard specifically for these two projects, we have actually had him correct other peoples work in our house as well, including making all new doors for an existing cabinet where the quality was so terrible that after 3 years the panels were cracking. Howard only uses the finest materials to fit a budget, but will not do the work if he thinks the budget of the client doesn't sufficiently pay for the right materials.
It is best to have as many ideas before meeting with Howard so you can show him exactly what you have in mind, and to draw the cabinets/closet/bar/furniture together which he will do with you on sight.
In total we have used Howard for 2 minor projects and 2 major projects with work totaling over $18,000 and could not be happier. We will use Howard going forward on any other projects we have.
