"Excellent. Mark Keys worked hard to get our house scheduled and repaired quickly so we could get it on the market to sell. They did great work at a great price. Took them two days to install 6 I-beam supports in the basement and to reinstall a window well."

"I got a few estimates for raising/supporting concrete steps/stoop which was sinking and pulling away from the house. John Coil's suggestion was polyjacking (and that was way under the estimates for other types of work suggested). Very glad I went with Heartland - Cory Mundell was punctual and discussed some possible concerns about the job with me before getting to work. The job turned out even better than expected and looks great. Couldn't be happier and very pleased with the value. And Heartland is a KCUR supporter - always a plus. :)"

"They were able to give me a bid based on photos I texted him. Bid was fair and work was scheduled. They showed up on the day agreed upon and the work was done and done very well. Mess was cleaned up and price was as quoted. Would definitely hire these guys again. Excellent crew and work. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thanks!"

"I highly suggest avoiding this company. Communication started off strong. We were having our partially attached garage rebuilt. It was supposed to take 30 working days to complete once construction began. The first project manager was, supposedly, let go before they started the build. The second one either quit or was let go when the project was close to complete. We still have a decent amount of unfinished work and trash/leftover supplies on our property. The work they did on the interior of the house is poorly done: cheap wood that's already cracked and not level/flat walls and trim. The demo began the first week of November. It's now almost April. Despite unfinished work, the owner is not responding to our emails. We haven't seen or heard from anyone in over a month. Please avoid this company if you want to avoid a massive headache and stress."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Kansas City, MO

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
