"I had to find emergency service for my furnace because it stopped working. I contacted several places trying to get help because it was extremely cold. Dad's was even booked up and Dan was doing his best to see if he could rearrange things on his schedule to come help me and my kids. Unfortunately, he was too booked and unable to come out that day. I continued trying to find assistance for at least sometime that week and was struggling to even receive a call back from anyone that day. The next morning I thought I would have to start the whole process over trying to find service but to my luck, Dan from Dad's called me to check and see if I was able to find anyone to help me out. I told him I still hadn't found anyone yet and was worried I was going to end up with frozen pipes if I didn't figure it out soon because it was so cold. Dan rearranged the schedule and had someone come out and to service our furnace that day. We found out what we were pretty sure we already knew, the whole system needed replaced because it was 20 years old. Dan got his crew right on top of things and helped us get a brand new system put in on the coldest day of the year. On top of that, he helped out by making it more affordable and doing it in phases so it was financially easier on us to get it all replaced and installed. We now have the whole system installed and I couldn't be happier with all the great customer service and quick installation of the system. He even called to check on the system after installation of the heater about 6 weeks later. When the company's name is Dad's you can only hope you are treated like family and Dan was very honest up front and fair about everything from beginning to end. He made sure my family was safe and comfortable just like a dad would do. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them."

"These guys are awesome! We've used them for the 20-some years we've lived in Lee's Summit. They are always responsive and punctual. They get the issue fixed the first time without me having to call them back. Pleasant and professional. Quality work. Their rates are reasonable. We have purchased air conditioners twice from them and furnace once. They did all the paperwork for the rebates for us. I called them last week because the air conditioner didn't seem to be cooling properly. He spent about an hour looking for the problem, didn't see anything broken, but cleaned out an extremely dirty condenser - which fixed the problem and we've been cool ever since."

"The company did a blow-in of insulation material between the studs and in the attic space. There were several areas in the garage where there was no drywall and they had a method of containing the insulation material so that drywall would be added later. They even insulated on the small spaces above and beside the garage door. Since the insulation has been installed, the temperature has stayed around 55 degrees on a pretty consistent basis. The estimate I received was 1/2 the amount received from another company. They brought a sample of the blow-in material and showed a video of how the insulation would be contained where there was no drywall. Now, here is the icing on the cake: between the time of the estimate and the time of the installation, I tore the meniscus in a knee, making me unable to prep the garage by moving items away from the wall. The installers backed my car out of the garage, moved the items and then moved everything back. Outstanding customer service!"

"Josh came over looked over everything and explained all our options and we chose high efficiency variable furnace 96 so installed 3inch pvc pipe for exhaust and one for fresh air to come in. Looks GREAT. Put in a variable air conditioner unit and leveled it out new pipes and so forth looks GREAT, installed New water Heater with no problems and made it to code which is GREAT, installed an April Air 600 humidifier and an iwave air scrubber to help with family allergies and 4 animals. Josh is a Great Guy for one and Did an AWESOME JOB ON THE INSTALL and answering any questions we had through out the process. "Very well. Dan was very professional and personable. He did a very thorough job of inspecting my HVAC system and noted that my humidifier was not working. I told him I was aware that it was no longer functioning and that a previous tech with a different company had told me that the full humidifier would have to be replaced due to corrosion. Dan said no. It only needs a few parts and it would be good to go. I was quite thrilled by this and upset at the previous tech (company) for their incorrect diagnosis. I had Dan repair the humidifier and it's working perfectly! He removed some useless wiring that was connected to nothing and cleaned up the entire area when he was done. He also installed a thermostat that I had purchased even though it was not on the work order. I am very happy with going with Dick Ray and the service that Dan provided."
