Forrest was extremely responsive. I called and he was able to come by, I believe, the next day to an energy audit to determine why my electric bill was outrageous and the temperature varied throughout the house. Right away he determined there was virtually no insulation in the attic (easier said than done considering the dark,  3 ft crawl space filled with giant metal ducts) except what was left from the original install in 1975. I was able to schedule to have the work done in about 5 days. I'm not sure if the price was good or not but I really liked Forrest and he was available to get the work done ASAP...that made it the right price!  He and his crew arrived when they said they would, blew in the insulation, mended ducts, expelled all the critters in the attic, and replaced the broken booster fan blocking the air going to the opposite end of the house.

I also texted Forrest Friday with concerns that there was hot air coming out of the vent when the AC wasn't on, he said he could be there the next day to check it out. He showed up when he said he would, determined that coincidently, I walked under the vent right when the AC turned on and all the hot air was being pushed from the duct.  There was no issues other than my bad timing.

I will continue to use this company for everything and anything they can provide that I need in the future.

"Jeff was great. We had two other roofing companies make repairs on a leak, and it was not fixed by them. When Jeff came out, he was able to spot a possible problem area right away. The person who did the actual repairs was very thorough. He did find an issue and corrected that problem, did an overall check of the rest of the roof, and corrected some other areas. Sol Electrical came to my rescue after I tried to change out a bathroom light fixture myself and immediately ran into problems.  I had a large hole in the wall.... without an electrical box.... that was slightly off center.  Simon came up with the idea to use a medallion behind the new light fixture to cover the hole.  Using a medallion would also allow us to move the light fixture over slightly.  This was a much better plan than I had (which involved heavy sheetrock repair, etc...) He went to Lowes and picked out a matching medallion and installed the fixture.  I was beyond pleased! 

While they were here I asked them to do two additional items: change out an electrical outlet for one with a USB charging connection and change out a light switch panel for a new one I bought at Lowes.  These guys were just great.I will use them again and recommend them to friends and co-workers.

"Maddox Roofing did a great job all around! I was skeptical at first since I didn't see too many reviews and I have a lot of flashing that needs to be correct but after meeting with Brady multiple times and going over the exact details of the work to be performed, I decided to go with him on this large cash expense (non-insurance related reroof). He got the permits in a week or so and then had the materials delivered and the crew came only a couple of days later. They tore everything completely off, and replaced it all. I saw the bare roof and the few replaced sheets of plywood before they re-wrapped the entire roof again with their waterproofing material and re-applied shingles and flashing everywhere. It looks so good, I was so happy when I saw the new roof! The best part of Maddox however is that LESS THAN A WEEK after the new roof was installed, a wind storm tore off a few of the new shingles. I called Maddox to let him know and see if he had some spares I could have to patch, he said "No sir you have a 5 year warranty with my company and we will take care of it". Sure enough they came out and patched it up with matching shingles. Very pleased with the company and the work the men performed on this big house in only 2 days. I see detail and pride in the work and I watched selflessness as the men picked up every scrap of debris from the flower beds and shook the rain spouts to find stubborn nails that could remain behind. I would recommend Maddox Roofing to anyone in the area and I hope they are still in business when I need another roof! Proud photos of my roof are on his FB site."

"The repair visit started with a courtesy call to let us know he was on the way. Shortly after Justin and his Dad (his helper) he got started, we found out that the builder did a lousy job of prewiring the under cabinet lights--switches missing (2) and switch not and quot;hotand quot;. He was able to masterly connect to existing power without leaving any wiring expoised. Each time a challenge was encountered, he presented at least a couple of options with the advantages and disadvantages for each.
At the end of the day we couldn't be more please having Justin do the work for us. It was a pleasure having the both of them here.

I described the problem, told him the approximate age of the cabinets, and told him how I wanted to repair them in order to keep costs down.He tried it my way but warned me it probably wasn't feasible. It wasn't. We went to plan "B", i.e., trying to match the broken material. That didn't work either.I came up with the idea of replacing the broken panels with glass.Kirk followed through and kept me informed throughout. It took longer than he anticipated because the glass company was slow to cut and fit the glass.Kirk came out and installed the doors after getting off another job."
