"It was 10am during the week between Christmas and New Years day. My main water valve inside the house was stuck in the off position so I had no water for toilets, sinks.... Chris from the company made it out to my house in advance of the Noon appointment and worked with the village (the village has to turn on\off the water from outside to my house) to get the repair completed within 2.5 hours, which was amazing. The price charged I thought was very fair given that I needed emergency service during the holiday season when availability of service is constrained. He arrived and tried to repair the leak, but determined that the old faucet was not designed to allow the replacement of tubes which appeared to be the source of the leak. Charlie made sure that the water was turned off for this faucet and provided several recommendations of local businesses that might carry the older faucet. "Tech performed service per protocols. He informed me that the water line to the attached humidifier was brittle and needed to be replaced. This was an expensive repair but I was offered a discount. Per their points inspection, the Tech verified that there was no gas leak from my water heater. The thermostat was not inspected since it is functioning and we are observing COVID recommendations. I was given a five-hour window for the Tech to arrive. This is the longest time frame ever. I assume that the extra COVID procedures are the reason. The Tech was professional and respectful of home COVID measures."

"We have seen many companies handle this major sewer repair and installation of a clean out station in our neighborhood. We've heard how much our neighbors have spent on the project. Before getting the estimate and having the work done, we were expecting a nightmare. Excel Plumbing was amazing from start to finish. Many of our neighbors have commented how excellent the process seemed to go. Customer service from the very beginning was always on top of everything. They took care of all the paperwork and permitting requests so quickly that the work was started the very next day after contacting them at 5pm the night before! Excellent efficiency. Our yard is beautifully landscaped and the care the workers exercised in doing the excavating was beyond meticulous. They prepared the area with plywood and dug out a perfect ditch. Put in the proper pipes and power cleaned all the lines. They fenced off the work while we had to wait for the village to approve the work. All the neighbors were very impressed by this safety measure and so were we. The work was approved and they replaced all the clay and the preserved top soil just so. Lastly, the put the sod back on that they had removed perfectly to reuse when they were done. Incredible job and incredible price. When they left, it was as if no work had been done out there. We have had neighbors who have had a mess for months after the work was done. We have told all our neighbors who we used and would recommend Excel to everybody."
