"We inherited 3 pieces of bedroom furniture; a long low dresser, a high dresser, and a large mirror in a heavy wood frame. They were old and solidly built pine, but were a very dark, almost black stain and very scuffed and scratched with age. The rest of our master bedroom furniture was a lighter teak color, so we asked Jeff if he could remove the dark stain and refinish them in a lighter teak. The result was outstanding; the new stain color now matches the rest of the bedroom furniture very closely, and all the scratches and scuffs have disappeared. We are very satisfied and would absolutely use “A Beautiful Finish” again!"

"Robert did a nice job for a fair price (average price per square foot) on a removal and reinstall of a 20 year old deck on a rental property. Seemed prompt and professional during the bidding process and actual construction. Unfortunately, he broke a window during construction and never mentioned it. Fortunately the tenant let us know. When I reached out to Robert, he seemed apologetic and assured me he would take care of it. When he finished the deck about a week later he informed me the job was complete, and a replacement window was on order. He requested we pay the total minus $500 for the window, which we agreed to. It has been almost a month since we payed, and I have reached out via text and voicemail (just sends the call to voicemail) a few times to get a status update, he wont return calls or texts. I am almost convinced he lied about ordering a window. I am now wondering if he pulled a building permit and/or had the work inspected, I will check with the county and update the review, but I suspect not. Bottom line, Im not sure Id use this guy again, definitely has issues with professionalism. At a minimum, I wouldnt pay for more than materials until I was 100% certain the job and any issues caused by the job were complete before I settled payment, and I would use a credit card or method of payment that is contestable/reversible in case there are issues. (One BBB review on his profile said he took payment for services he never provided.)"
