"Barbara was phenomenal. A true professional dedicated to her craft and excellent customer service. We had a custom toilet that stopped working, and a leaky faucet in the same bathroom. She reached out right away after requesting a quote through Angi, and she came the same day. At first she told us that the toilet required a part she’d have to order, and after fiddling with the faucet, recommended the 15 year-old fixture be replaced. I offered to purchase it from Home Depot or Lowe’s she agreed to come back to replace the old one and install it in 3 days. After she left, she called me back and asked if she can return because she figured out how she could try to fix the toilet with existing parts she had in her truck. She did it. The toilet is functioning better than it did before the problems began! She then returned 3 days later as promised to replace the bathroom faucet, a complicated project because of the cabinet structure that she stuck with and skillfully completed. On a personal note. We bonded once I asked about the name of the company, which her father, who founded the company, named after his Navy ship. My dad also served in the Navy. Barbara kept me regularly posted about when she’d arrive and the progress of the work. She was true to her word. I’d gladly paid her for her excellent work."

"I found Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc. using Angie's List and I selected them because they were rated highly and were nearby. Jay did a fantastic job. He arrived on time and was extremely professional throughout the entire repair. He even brought his own doormat to wipe his shoes on before entering the house. He provided estimates before starting the repairs and made sure I clearly understood what repairs needed to be done. Originally, we thought only one pipe (coming out of the house) needed to be replaced that fed the sprinkler system, but Jay discovered that the vacuum breaker had also cracked. Since he didn't have that part on his truck, he went to a plumbing supply store that was a little farther away to buy a good quality part rather than to a big box store. He returned promptly and replaced the broken vacuum breaker carefully. Throughout the entire repair, Jay was willing to answer all of my many questions, and he explained each part of the process as he was doing it. He checked both the toilet and the pipe feeding the sprinkler for leaks when he had finished the repair and made sure everything was working properly. I even observed that Jay kept a very clean and neat truck with everything labeled clearly so it could be found easily. Also, when I called to make the appointment, the woman on the phone, who was extremely polite, suggested that I take the first appointment in the day so there would be no waiting. I admire those who clearly take pride in their work and who complete their work carefully and competently. I would highly recommend Jay as a service technician as well as Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc."

Anthony responded immediately, said he'd be over in an hour to an hour and a half (which he was) and he and his assistant Eric promptly and expertly replaced all the pipes after consulting with us to describe the problem (the other pipes had also deteriorated over the years and were ready to sprout leaks as well, something I had also noticed when examining the first leaky pipe). Finding an honest plumber is rare - finding one who's skilled, courteous and cost-effective is nearly impossible; but Anthony is all of these things. They followed up on my query within a couple of hours, came to inspect exactly on the dot, did the research to get me the top-of-the-line replacement, and gave me a very competitive estimate. I independently verified the details, and everything was correct and accurate. The crew came when promised, did the installation well within the estimated time and left the place spotless. Not only that, but they also carefully took out parts of the system that could be re-used, neatly packaged, and left them in the basement for me. "I had an immediate need for the repair or replacement of a pipe in my bathroom. Joe from Simple Event responded almost immediately to my request on Home Advisor. He came on the next day, which was a Sunday, to give me the rundown on what he expected to do, explaining that once he opened the wall there were a few possibilities. He returned on Monday and worked so hard for many hours. He did a great job prepping the room to protect it. At various times he called me in to show me what he found and explain what he was going to do. He worked with me to find the best solution to my concerns...when you realize that your tiles and wall are going to have to be cut open, it s a bit nerve racking. Joe made it work."

"Jimmy is a true professional with a solid work ethic. I was given a clear quote for the work and a thorough explanation of what needed to be done. I would certainly call them again for any future plumbing work. We decided to go with JRS Maintenance for a leak in our cast iron water pipes, which later turned into a bigger job. The nearby pipes were already showing signs of decay, so after an honest conversation with Jimmy, we just settled on changing that whole section leading up to the small leak with PVC (a much-needed upgrade). He arrived on time and made sure to call in advance. The old plumbing came with some concerns, which were shared in advance, but overall the job went smoothly. No doubt due to Jimmy’s skills and experience. Overall, the job didn't break the bank and ended up saving us a big headache. Glad I chose JRS."

"Niko Spirollari and Dori did an excellent job in replacing three (3) radiator valves. One of the valves required a pipe to be replaced. They contacted me immediately upon my request for a quote and they were able to come the very next day to do the job. They gave me a very reasonable estimate for this job and only charged me the cost of an extra valve for the labor and parts to replace a damaged pipe. The entire job took about 2 hours. They placed down work blankets to protect the carpet and they vacuumed the work areas and removed the old valves upon completing the job. They were very informative, efficient and professional. I was very pleased with the work and cost of this project. I have hired them before to replace my hot water tank and install a kitchen faucet and I would definitely hire them for future plumbing projects."
