"The energy in our first conversation got me really anxious for Mad-Family Tree Service to come out to my property for a free estimate. When Jonathan Madison got here on Thursday 5/9/2013 at 4:30pm. he was very knowledgeable and gave me some pointers for my problem grass areas. Once Jonathan saw the broken pine, it became an urgency to get down before something/someone got injured. Jonathan had his crew out there Friday morning at 8:00am. the day after my free estimate. Which to me showed his care for my families safety.
Mad-Family Tree Service was referred to me from a friend of my family. I was nervous after i had another company tell me i would need a company with a bucket truck. I explained to Jonathan some of my financial issues and that i would have to wait if it was going to be over $800.00 to get the one broken pine tree. Jonathan showed concern not only for my property but for my safety as well. He re-assured me there would be no use for a bucket truck and everything will come down by roping piece by piece.
After completion Jonathan pointed out another pine tree that could possibly be a hazard. He understood my financial standing and did this tree for me out of good grace. Jonathan said  " I cant allow this tree to stand as a threat, since i have placed my eyes on it. I will get this down as long as you get these three business cards into the right hands."  I was so impressed with his business ethics and explained that i would do more than just pass out  three business cards.
I was very amazed at the passion that this company showed for the safety of their customers. "Our sewer sump pump alarm came on on Thurs night. We investigated and noticed that the sump pump was not running. We doubled checked the breaker panel -- nothing had been tripped. So we turned off the alarm, went back to sleep with the intent of looking for plumbers on Angie's List to help us resolve this problem. I contacted David Plumbing & Heating, Inc. at 0800 Fri morning. I told the woman on the phone of my scenario who took my phone number and said a technician would call me back. I told her that I was taking my husband to a Cardiology appointment later that morning (he was scheduled to have open heart surgery in a couple of days) and needed to try and talk to the technician before 0930. She understood the urgency and said someone would call before 0930. True to her word, someone called at 0830 and told us to call him back when we returned from our appointment. Our appointment lasted longer than we anticipated, which also involved a trip to the hospital for some lab work. When we finally got back home and called him back (about 1300 hrs) he said he would be at our house in a couple of hours. He (Dennis the technician) arrived at 1500 hrs and almost immediately found the problem in the sump pump. Something had gotten the float ball stuck (probably toilet paper in the effluent), which triggered the water not refill in the sump pump tank, which in turn trigger the alarm that there was no water (or it was at a low level) in the sump pump. He didn't even have to take the lid off the tank. He was done within 30 minutes. But he checked everything out, flushed the toilets, ran water, etc., several times to make sure the system was turning on and that the tank was filling up to its correct level. Dennis was professional, knew his trade well, was very polite and even liked our dog! I really appreciated the fact that Dennis was able to come to our house almost at a moment's notice, especially on a Friday and the beginning of a 3-day Memorial Day weekend. The cost was nominal, but Dennis providing so much satisfaction and ease to a potential problem. Kudos to Davis Plumbing in Fredericksburg, I would use them again in a heartbeat."

"Slow draining tub, a toilet that just won't flush, and some back flow when using the dishwasher left us thinking we just had a major clog.  To our surprise, it was a collapsed sewer line that needed to be replaced.  While there was a 1 week wait due to the time of year and the demands they were expecting, we were more than happy to wait the week.  Work went quickly and smoothly, and was far less intrusive than we anticipated.  Their staff even wore shoe coverings when coming into the house!  Only some minor clean up work was required once they left, which appeared to be an oversight when they cleaned up.  Everything else was back to normal after they left and no problems since."

"The crew that was sent out to replace roof was good.  However, very disappointed in the professionism of the owner.  I know there were some personal issues going on at the time but the way "we" the clients were handle was not professional.  I can't recommend this company. A project that should have take only a couple of days was draw out into months.  Work was only completed and not really to my liking after lots of emails and voice mails."
