"I had a great experience with Eric, the owner of this company. He showed up on time. He was knowledgable and didn't fix anything unless it required to be fixed. I had quite a bit of plumbing needs in my basement. I needed a new water heater, toilet, and sump pump. I was planning on removing the old water softener, but he managed to get it up and running. He installed new valves to replace the awful saddle valves that were there from previous owners. I knew from previous experience, that saddle valves would end up leaking if they were not taken care of. He was also REASONABLY priced. He wasn't scary high or oddly low. As a single mother, I felt safe in his presence and did not feel taken advantage of regarding the work involved. Eventually I will need to replace the water shut off valve and put in a new bathroom vanity. I will definitely hire him again! I'm so relieved to find a knowledgable plumber that does not take advantage of unknowledgeable people and who charge a reasonable and fair rate. I needed a toilet put in place in my powder room, a faucet changed in my kitchen, and a water filter installed in the kitchen. These three projects took longer than expected and I ended up paying for additional labor time. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."
