"It went exceptionally well. First, when I initially spoke with Jason, he informed me that there was a newer and even better Chamberlain model available than the one I was considering. I would not have known this. And I'm very happy to have these 2 new openers. (As an aside, I had a new Chamberlain opener installed on another garage door about a year ago, and the well-known companies such as Precision Garage Doors would not install an opener purchased by the customer. I wanted to, and did, buy all 3 openers on amazon.com.) Jason clearly knew what he was doing. I had him replace the springs on the 2 doors that received the new openers, and replace the rollers with nice quiet nylon(?) ones. He took the time to move the opener buttons inside the garage so they are neatly arranged in a straight line. He programmed all opener remotes to open each of the 3 garages, and he programmed and installed the outside keypad opener remote. I could not have been happier. It's funny because I hope I won't need any further garage door servicing for 10 years or more, so won't need to call Jason for some time. But if/when I need repair, there is no doubt he is the one I'll call."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
