Obviously they could not do an exact estimate until they actually examined the computer but he gave me a good idea of likely best and worst case scenario (no fee diagnosis and approx $60 to to $170 for repair - again, obviously they cannot tell if there is something more substantively wrong until they actually evaluate). I am definitely a computer guy but like to leave the hardware and/or software fixes to the people that specialize in that area... and based upon my interaction this is a place I would bring my computer before shelling out the money to buy a new one. <br /> PS. "Aa I recall, at first they were willing to come to my home. Not sure why, but the representative later told me they could not come to my home to repair my computer. Further, they wanted me to drop off my computer at a 3rd-party location, adding they would go by and get it within a couple of days and attempt to repair. I was not at all comfortable with that scenario. In not saying they are not good (or bad) at what they do. I am saying that set-up was not comforting and was the primary reason I chose not to use this company."
