"We did not use this company. We were not at all happy with the customer service we received after our initial inquiry. It took over 2 weeks just to get a quote for a fairly simple job. (This did include one week the company was on vacation.) We did not receive a follow-up after the estimate was sent and the estimate which actually contained several errors. Instead we have hired a company with excellent customer service and one who provides excellent quality work as well."

"Perfect - no problems.  The person came out to install it was very professional and knowledgeable.  Seth Timmons the owner came out to make sure everything was going ok.  I will say that my house had some very old and broken plumbing knobs that Timmons fixed for me at no charge--I appreciated that very much!!!!

"Mr. Bill Schwenzer and his brother, Tom, demolished the bathtub area, removed the tile floor, installed new sub floor, removed the vanity top, raised the vanity a few inches, installed 12"x24" tiles in tub area with a niche, installed 18"x18" tiles on the floor, installed new baseboards and shoe mold, organized plumber for installation of  new tub, toilet, sink and shower faucets.  Bill and Tom always prompt and efficient.  We had a few challenges with the location and size of the niche because of some electrical wires in the wall, but it worked out well after all.  They were very meticulous in their work, cleaned up after themselves, and especially wanted to be sure we were satisfied AND happy with the job.  Not only were they polite and friendly with us (and the family dog), they were also polite and friendly with each other.  They are trustworthy and honest gentlemen, which is hard to find these days.   Everything is GREAT!

"After receiving numeous estimates, we chose to work with Dave and his crew.  Dave was excellent at walking us through the process, choosing the materials that would work best for us, and suggesting finishing touches that would really add some pop to our kitchen.  For example, he suggesting adding some crown molding of a different color from our cabinets and a new cabinet in place of the opening above our sink that served no purpose and looked like wasted space.  After selecting the countertop, sink, and faucet, we scheduled a date to have the work done.  Dave and his crew were able to compete the work in a single day.  This included disconnecting our plumbing, removing our old countertops, sink, and cooktop stove, installing the new countertops with an undermount sink and a new faucet, installing a new cabinet and new crown molding, and installing a new gas cooktop stove we had purchased.  They worked directly with a plumber to reconnect the faucet, disposal, dishwasher, and cooktop stove on the same day.  We found Dave and his crew to be very professional and extremely good at what they do.  They cleaned up well, leaving us with a kitchen better than we originally envisioned.  We would recommend Limpus Cabinets for all of your kitchen and bathroom needs.

"Everything went very well. He's a great guy to work with! He showed up on time and his prices were competitive. He cleaned up well and a year and a half later, everything is still working smoothly! I definitely plan on using him if we have any plumbing issues in the future."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Knightstown, IN

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
