"provider came in time for job estimate on a Sunday, he explained what needs to be done and we agreed to a price and delivery by next Thursday, left down payment and a dated check, so he could do the job in case we are not at home .
by thursday evening nothing had happened, in the follow up call the guy explains the panels had not been delivered, quality panels from Canada - good quality, job would be done this Sunday latest, delay was not his fault.
next day, Friday, the guy shows up and replaces the panels, we inspected the work after conclusion and rework was required, panels did not shut tight to door frame. another hour of tinkering and it was acceptable. doing so he left a few unprofessional remarks.
then the dated check needed to be replaced (dated for Sunday not Friday). guy asked to issue the check on his personal name, not the company name. his boss gave him permission. an hour later he came back with the check accusing us it was rejected by the bank, we explained to him that the check needs to go to from his bank to our bank first and that his bank does not know anything about lack of funds until the check is  settled by the bank, so he should go back and actually hand in the check.

"Feb. snow and rainstorms caused a large ice dam to form on our North side roof, and we had water damage in both the master bathroom and the family room.
Both ceilings had water stains--and both were cathedral ceilngs--high and difficult to reach.  We also had some cracked plaster in the corner of the family room from settling,  as well as one corner in the kitchen. The very top of the ceiling in the master bath had some loosening of the drywall tape and "mud", and since we were at it, I asked them to include this, as well as a cleaning and replacement of light bulbs in the kitchen fan--again, too high for us to get to.  Inspection of the bathroom water stain proved to be not from the ice dam, but a problem with the installation of the bathroom fan and light by the original owners--use of too small a unit and no insulation, causing lots of condensation which leaked down and stained the ceiling.  Both rooms would need repainting of the ceilings and the family room needed a total repaint.  Touch-up of the bathroom wall where some nails had popped and needed recovering would be enough. They matched our 9 year old paint perfectly.
The men arrived punctually each of the three days it required.  They moved and/or covered furnishings and carpeting both in the rooms and in the hallways to protect  them and were very careful to keep dust and dirt to a minimum, and cleaned everything up each night so we could resume normal  living.  They did a great job with everything, and installed a new fan unit of the correct size in the bathroom--cleaned up my kitchen ceiling, and made the fan/light unit look like new. The men were courteous and good at their jobs and did everything we had asked.
Our house looks great again, and we are very satisfied with the company, their estimator Phil; Joe, their supervisor, and his crew.
We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!
