"Cesar does great work. He is reliable, kind and responsive. He replaced my kitchen cabinet doors, he installed my new bathroom: including vanity, medicine cabinet, light fixture, tile flooring, and toilet. All came out perfect. He replaced old closet doors with new bi-fold doors, and he helped with many other details I needed. I will definitely be using him again, I am very happy with everything!"

Carlos Palomino is the very best when it comes to remodeling. He originally register his company as a handyman. Very quickly people learned that his craftsmanship was the very best. He went from being a handyman to building bran new homes in no time. The difference is he is not going to sub a lot of work out; he is able to do most things himself. Having a general contractor on the job gives you not only excellence but you can count he is on time as well.

"Extremely pleased with finished project that transformed our entire backyard living and play areas! We continue to receive tremendous compliments from family and friends and look forward to hosting parties for years to come. This was a very complex project coordinating and installing all the hardscape for a large pool installation that involved multiple retaining walls, stone work on hot tub, tiered patios, an outdoor fireplace with seat walls and an outdoor kitchen, along with a new driveway and basketball court. Not every contractor can handle such a large job. The owner Roy takes a lot of pride in his work and so does his foreman Joe and the rest of his crew, which shows in the high quality finished product. Roy spent most of his time on site working with his crew and answering our questions as the project progressed. He remained flexible with necessary changes and requests during the project and provided several suggestions to improve the end design and save money. Roy was very reliable right up to the completion of the project. Roy and his crew also worked very quickly and stayed focused on our job. We are happy we embarked on this journey that turned our unlevel backyard into a multi-level highly functional new oasis!"

"Miguel built us a beautiful retaining wall. He and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, and fast! They were at our house first thing in the morning every day during the build, and finished the wall faster than I've ever seen any contractor, on any jobsite! we absolutely love the work He did, and are looking forward to hiring him again when we finish our backyard project!"

"The work was fantastic! Craig's team did the entire job in about 3 weeks time and there was a lot to do. We regraded our backyard as it has dips and valleys that caused large pools of water to form. He then added on a 600sq ft patio, stepping stones, gravel in our side yard landing, added sculpted beds to the outer edges, planted privacy and cherry trees and put in drainage from our home to the yard to help with any excess water issues. I can't say enough about how wonderfully the work turned out. We love our backyard!"

"Brett had 3 other young men with him and worked for 6 hours. They spread 15 yards of mulch, edged about 200 feet where turf meets beds, ,  plug aerated both back and front yards which is well over 10,00 square feet, tidied up  20x 5 feet of Forsythia, cut down last years perennials in a 800 sq. ft. bed,  cleaned beds, cut ornamental grasses down to proper height , they took their time and they never rushed to be done, nor did they take long breaks.
All work was done as if the guys were working on their own homes. They respected the plants coming up and worked so not to trample or disturb them  AND, they did not volcano mulch around the stand of Rose of Sharon and  Crepe Myrtel. It was all spread evenly.  I had an afterthought  and needed a large thick, tall bush drastically trimmed and they did it along with some other shrubs needing trimming.
Brett and his crew have a great work ethic, are personable, polite and very easy to get work with. I am going to hire them again in June to put a 75ft walkway, river stone and plant some type of flowering cherry.
Lastly, what immediately separated Emerald Green from a lot of other Angie LIsters, especially handymen, was that  Brett CALLED ME  right back, actually SHOWED up to to price the job and sent an estimate in email very quickly.
If I say anymore good things about Emerald Green you folks will think I am part owner or a relative. I am NOT. I found them on Angies LIst.

"It was an amazing experience. We had been burnt by a landscape designer just recently and were ready to just scrap the whole project. I reached out to Brian after reading some positive reviews on Angie's List. I contacted 4 different companies in total and Professionally Green was the only company we could put trust in, they were not the least expensive, but far from the priciest. They contacted us immediately and walked us through the whole project while listening to our every concern. We were concerned we wouldn't beat the weather but his team worked tirelessly to complete a better than expected outdoor landscape for us. Brian was on the site every day, a rarity from most other companies, and even accommodated a picky request to change a part of the demolition half way through. I even drove home so that I could explain what I wanted to be completed but there was no need, they already took care of it for me and went above and beyond. Brian and his team really listen to everything we asked for and made it happen. We got more than we asked for, whatever he promised he over delivered.

"The owners design was spot on to what we discussed with him. The stone work which included some (of what I perceive to be) difficult curves turned out beautiful. The owner was not only responsive, but open to suggestions and changes as we progressed. His staff was courteous, helpful and they cleaned up their work areas after each day's work."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Lake Hiawatha, NJ

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
