Carlos Palomino is the very best when it comes to remodeling. He originally register his company as a handyman. Very quickly people learned that his craftsmanship was the very best. He went from being a handyman to building bran new homes in no time. The difference is he is not going to sub a lot of work out; he is able to do most things himself. Having a general contractor on the job gives you not only excellence but you can count he is on time as well.

"When we purchased our home in 2006, the kitchen was in MAJOR need of updating. We were recommended to Alessandra Custom Cabinets through a friend and contacted them immediately. The owner, Pete, was able to come over just days after we moved in to give us his opinion, as well as an extremely fair estimate for the job. Within just weeks, our kitchen was transformed from an over-the-top-faux painted design to a rich, cherry wood LUXE custom kitchen. Highly functional, soft-close drawers and doors were surrounded by GORGEOUS crown moldings, which made for an absolute stunner. The detail and craftsmanship from Alessandra were undoubtedly superb. We loved the work from Alessandra so much that when we decided to transform our ranch to a 2-story colonial we called them back to work again. We changed the look from cherry to a white shaker style to flow with our new open concept layout. Needless to say, once again the detail and design are beautiful. "We always dreamed of having a pool in our backyard, but we were not certain the dream would become reality. Like many people, the pandemic caused us to rethink our priorities and reflect on how we wanted to spend time as a family. Working with Pool Boss to construct our pool was the best decision. Chris was patient and answered all of our questions about the construction process, permits, design, etc. Our project manager, Joanna, was very responsive and handled all the twists and turns of scheduling the various steps of the build. The plumbers, electricians, designers, and masons were kind and professional. Building a pool is a big investment and a major construction project. If you decide to embark on the pool building journey, I'd trust no other company than Pool Boss with the work. We are excited to make some memories in our new backyard oasis!"

"From the moment he came to give us an estimate, Craig and Creative Images were everything we could have hoped for. We'd bought our house in the winter, so we were unaware that the property did not drain properly. It became an immediate issue the following summer with standing water at various spots throughout the yard, so we knew it was going to be an unforeseen project. But, more specifically, we knew it was a project we could not afford to get wrong. We received other estimates that were temporary fixes to the problem that were portrayed as "all we needed." When Craig arrived, his idea was completely different and much more comprehensive. What others had said was fixable with simply regrading the property, Craig quickly identified as a much more complex problem. He showed us that a drainage system was the only solution because the type of soil in our yard (clay), and that, in addition to raising and regrading the property, this would alleviate the problem. We decided if we were going to fix it, we would make sure we fixed it correctly, and banked on Craig's expertise - even though it was more money. The yard has turned out to be perfect. It's a completely new space, a total 180 from what it was just four months ago. Our dog and the rest of the family can actually use the space now, and while it was expensive, it was money well spent. While his knowledge and ideas were obviously fantastic, the thing that really set Craig and his company apart was their professionalism and how they conducted themselves throughout all phases of the job. Every single member of the team that worked on our job over a two-day period was personable, pleasant and professional from the minute they stepped foot on the property. I asked several different members of the team questions over the course of the two days, and each one knew the answer without having to ask anyone else. Also, we have a six-month-old daughter, and they made it a point to wave and smile at her while she watched from the window. They left our property spotless when they were finished, and even came back after the first rain storm to make sure everything was working properly. I could not possibly give Craig and Creative Images a higher recommendation. We have not only found a landscaping company that we will use for the rest of our time in Totowa - we have found a partner we will use as long as they are in business."

"We were referred to Pepe Paving by friends of ours who had just used them and were very happy. Since our friend has high standards and a good eye, we soon after called Pepe Paving for a quote. Maurizio of Pepe Paving redid our patio and created our new retaining wall, replacing our crumbling brick patio and retaining wall bordering it, and removing an undefined buried heap of junk on the corner of our property left by the previous owners (old pipes, fences and other construction debris). The quote he gave us was very reasonable and he was prompt, helpful and professional. He responded to questions within 24-48 hour period. And when the job required more work than initially anticipated (due to 2 hidden layers of cement patio under our original brick patio), he didn’t upcharge us and still managed to finish on time. The final patio and retaining wall far exceeded our expectations. The patio has elevated the look of our house and created a great place for entertaining. Maurizio is a pleasure to work with and graciously answered questions when our neighbors stopped by to see what was going on- they were impressed. We would definitely go with Pepe Paving again if I had any further projects of this nature. I wish more contractors were this good."

"HMD is an awesome company to deal with. And I will totally use them again for all projects going forward. From day one & til completion of the job, I was working with Brian. I have to say he is very responsive with phone calls, text messages and communication. I had trouble with other concrete contractors just getting them to return my initial call. But Brian would respond promptly in about 15 minutes or less. So right from the start i knew this was going to be great. The job was spec'd out to tear out & remove my old broken sidewalk & walkway. And also fix the post on my front step. Brian filled out all the necessary permits for the County (I live on a county road) and made sure things are done correctly. The day of construction and all the guys from HMD showed up on time 8AM sharp and ready to work. These are some of the hardest working guys I have seen in a long time. They put in a long day doing the demo & framing work. The next day we had the truck out to pour concrete. HMD has some master masons on staff and the concrete came out looking amazing. Super impressed by all the work that HMD did. They went above and beyond the scope of work from getting me some extra material so that i can skim coat a totally different concrete project at my house (And delivered it for free). And Brian took the liberty to basically fix and landscape my entire front lawn, after the excavator machine took out the old concrete (Most contractors would have just left the lawn as is). Overall Highly recommend. They are a great company to work with. Thanks!"
