"Stay away. Got a bid from this company for $13k. So far I have been billed over $52k. Everytime they submitted something to the City it is never correct/complete, and they bill me for their incompetence/mistakes."

"I would not recommend this service. I paid $500 expecting a detailed engineering assessment of a basement water issue. Instead, I received a very generic report with no clear root cause, no detailed findings, and no actionable step-by-step guidance."

"This new house project was very complicated. Large house on a designated steep slope lot with lower soil baring capacity. City of Seattle reviewers get very detailed on ECA projects. Pin piles were required by Geo Teck etc…. Ben handled it well and very professionally. Responded several times to city’s demands. He did not try to nickel and dime me for every little extra, and there were many extras, all projects have extras. His pricing was very competitive, which is also very important. I highly recommend Ben. "

"The communication was excellent! I really felt comfortable working with Eli and ESG. He went the extra mile to ensure my questions were answered. I would definitely hire ESG again."

"If I could give this company a negative star rating, I would. This is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with, of any type, in my entire life. I had a settling garage and in November 2019 I contacted Robbins to see if they could fix it . After looking at the project, they told me that they could not consider proceeding or giving me an estimate without my obtaining an engineers report. They referred me to an engineer who prepared a report (for $4000) and then provided a copy to me and to Robbins. In January 2020, I contacted Robbins to see if they could give me an estimate based on the report. They said they would get back to me. At minimum, over the next six months, I had at least 10 communications with Robbins (not an exaggeration), either over the telephone or in writing trying to determine the status of my project. During that time, when I contacted them, they either didn’t respond to my communication or told me that they were still “working on it.“ Finally, frustrated after six months, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I explained the situation, he apologized profusely, and told me that he would look into the situation, and get back to me the next day. A week went by and I heard nothing back from the supervisor, as promised. So, I ended up calling the supervisor and asked him what he found out. He told me that based upon the engineering proposal, “this was not a project that they would do.“ I asked him why, if he had the engineering plans for six months, I wasn’t advised sooner that they weren’t going to proceed on the project. He simply said that he thought it had been communicated to me. So, eight months after contacting this company, I have incurred over $4000 in engineering fees and have to start searching for a foundation repair company all over, after wasting my time with Robbins. Obviously, from other reviews, other people have had different experiences with this company. For me personally, I have never been treated so poorly with customer service or had such a horrible experience."

"We were in need of repair estimates for a home buying decision. We knew what the problems were. We needed to know the cost to fix the issues for negotiations with the seller. We clearly asked over the phone if Sabco would be able to provide an estimate to repair and not just engineering cost estimates. They said they would so we scheduled an appointment. During the appointment Sabco said they do not provide estimates to repair (not what they said on the phone). Sabo was then unable to provide any useful estimate for the engineering work citing they couldn't see the issue clearly enough, ignoring the fact most issues we wanted quoted were completely visible. One of the problem areas was with joists that were 100% visible. Another was with foundation concerns that were 100% visible. The other was with a joist that had limited visibility. Sabco claimed there was nothing they could do to provide an estimate without demolition work to see it better. I asked why they didn't use an endoscope which is a common tool of the trade in this situation. They said that was impossible. The next contractor to show up to give a quote brought an endoscope with them and was able to quote proving Sabco was incompetent. Sabco did not deliver what they said would do when we agreed to use them during our phone screen, did not deliver what they later changed their story to say they deliver and would not refund our payment after not delivering anything of value."
