"Called, after checking the List, got Brenda on the phone, who made an appointment for the next day.
The plumber, Leno, called about 15 minutes before arriving (on time).
He assessed the situation, got to work and had the job wrapped up in an hour or so.
The repairs were fully successful. He also gave us some very helpful tips about a few other plumbing/heating-related issues that we will deal with later in the year.
We were very impressed with his hard work and professionalism. We will definitely hire Universal for our future plumbing needs.

"It went extremely well. Steve was out to my home in 30 minutes and explained what he was doing through the whole process. They used several procedures to find the leak location and then drilled 3 very small holes in the slab to pinpoint the exact location. He said if the the leak is under tile they can usually drill through the grout. That made me feel so much better as I didn't want holes all over my house. It went very well and I will certainly use them again. Called the plumbers and it was exactly where he said it was and my leak is now fixed."

"Alvin was careful to explain prior to starting work that if he required extra supplies, etc it would be on top of the Angie's price. Also, that there was the possibility that it would not be a simple replacement. I expected that. The replacement turned out to be more complicated than I'd anticipated.
The plumbing pipes for hose bibbs are installed between the vertical studs. There is supposed to be a horizontal cross brace that secures the "inside" part of the bibb  with 2 screws into the wood. Turns out, when the house was built in 1997, no cross bracing was added inside the wall, so the unsupported pipe had been shifting each time we turned the faucet on or off for the past 17 years. So, when he went to remove the outside portion, instead of "unthreading" as it should have,  the copper pipe broke off at the joint inside the wall. In order to complete the repair, Alvin needed to make an access port on the interior wall. He very carefully sawed an 8x8" piece out of the drywall, added a wood cross brace to the existing framing, secured the plumbing pipe to it, then attached the new hose bibb on the outside. After completing the repair, he carefully re-fitted the piece to the wall and used some caulk I had to cover the seam.
We were charged only for the difference in supplies, not for the additional time involved, which I was grateful for. I was also relieved that we had decided to have this done. I hate to think about some day going out to turn the hose on or off and have a fountain inside the wall.

"We were having problems with our kitchen faucet leaking, so Alan from Strongbuilt Plumbing & Air, LLC initially came and found the source of the problem, which turned out to be the hose. The Kohler faucet has an excellent guarantee on their product for part replacement, so I ordered the part. As soon as it arrived, I called Strongbuilt to schedule for the hose replacement. Alan was unavailable, so this time they sent Josiah. Due to our hard water issue, it was a little tough removing (the hose); however, Josiah was able to remove and replace the hose without any further issues. Both Alan and Josiah arrived on time, if not a few minutes prior to the appointment. They were very personable and easy to communicate. Excellent work quality and very professional.
