Mr. Kelly came to provide estimate and give recommendations for lower level heating/cooling. Estimate was reasonable. The job was scheduled within one week. Workers arrived on time, were considerate of the newly installed carpet by wearing shoe covers. Worked diligently and completed the job ahead of the estimated time (6 hours instead of 8 hours). Cleaned the work area. Foreman for the job explained what had been done, showed me the completed work. Very professional. Would definitely recommend."

"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. "I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. I highly recommend Bluestar for their reliable service and Isaac’s thorough and knowledgeable work."

Very knowledgeable, patiently, friendly and nice person, answer all my questions. Later on, we decided to replace the whole new system with fair price and wasn’t ripped off as others. "Our heat went out and we reached out to Beltway. They were able to get out to us in a timely manner and diagnose the problem. The system was 25 years old and was going to cost 700 dollars to make a repair that had already been repaired once before we bought our home. After discussing our options with Ryan we decided to replace our furnace and AC unit instead of risking future issues and pouring more money in to an old system. He gave us a very reasonable price on a two stage system that is much more energy efficient than our existing unit and did not even charge us for the repair of our current system since we decided to buy a new unit. They have a 5 year labor warranty on their work which is far better than most companies that only offer a one or two year warranty. The install team was very courteous and polite, always wearing shoe covers and taking down decorations or moving stuff to avoid damage while coming in and out. At the end they walked us through the new unit and told us what to watch out for. We would definitely recommend Beltway to anyone and will come to them in the future with all our HVAC needs."

"I called Buric (on advice of friend/neighbor) when A/C wasn't working and I asked what to expect in their charges. The guy on the phone told me they charge a flat $95 (or $99?) for driving out here. So I asked if they charge by the hour or half hour. No, he said, by the job. He couldn't give me an estimate because he didn't know what was wrong. So, a technician came out and diagnosed my unit (which blew air but didn't get cold) as old & dead and needing replacement. So, in my mind, there was really there was no job outside of replacement. In their mind, they did a job by taking 10 minutes to look at the unit and tell me there was nothing to be done for it. So, instead of charging me $99 for coming out, they charged me $230 for coming out AND telling me the unit couldn't be fixed. That irritated me. Then I asked for a bid for new system. The guy went out and talked on the phone to his boss and come back with a written bid. I later compared it with my second bid from another co. Buric's bid was higher than the company I selected, but not enough to sway me if I had liked their way of doing business. However, the previous (over)charge, which was not explained by the guy I spoke to when I first called, left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn't go with them. So that extra $130 they made cost them around $5000. I hope it was worth it to them. BTW, if I had gone with them, they would have subtracted the $230 from the bid, but I just couldn't get past it. So, I am not saying anything about the quality of their work--it may be just fine, but I don't like the way they did business."
