"I am getting my basement finished and I had a leak that I could not figure out. I had multiple other companies come out with no success. I called Chimney Sweeps of America based on the Angie's List reviews and within days, Mike was able to come out and give me a free estimate. Initially he was convinced it was an issue with my grading around the foundation and I agreed. He proposed putting an adhesive on the brick to stop the seeping. His price was reasonable so we moved forward. He changes his schedule and came out the next day. The following weekend we had a huge storm and the leak was still there. I called Mike frantically and he agreed to come back out. We worked through some options and did some testing and Mike came to the conclusion that there was an issue with a leak from the top of the chimney. We discussed some options and the quote was very reasonable for the scope of work that he proposed. I needed the work done asap so Mike worked extra hard to get his week done early so he could come out by the end of the week leading into Labor Day. When most people are taking off for the Holiday, Chimney Sweeps of America was at my house going above and beyond to help solve my problem. They worked diligently but didn't cut corners. Mike discussed the work he and his team performed and made sure I understood why the problem was occurring. They took off the chase cover, replaced and painted the trim boards, replaced the piping to my chimney cap, installed a storm collar and made sure everything was sealed up with a special caulking material. I lost a lot of sleep over this leak but I feel very relieved to have found such an honest and hard working team to work with. Trust this company, they will go the extra mile to make sure they help. "We contacted Baun Chimney after the inspection report for the home we purchased to have him clean and personally inspect the chimney to give us a second opinion.  Michael arrived on time and executed the cleaning of the chimney, he lit the gas fireplace and confirmed its functionality and was very honest with us that the chimney had been converted from wood to gas and being that if we left it gas, the chimney would not need future cleanings.  So I appreciated the honesty of Michael. <br /> He climbed on the roof and did confirm the inspection report and took pictures of the issues and explained that he could return in the next week and execute on the masonry work and he would recommend that we cap the chimney with a waterproofing sealant that would protect the chimney for a minimum of ten years.  We agreed to move forward and Michael returned the next week and performed the work as estimated and the cap looks great. <br /> I would always recommend Michael and his company due to the great ownership and pride he takes in his work and name in the business. <br />"

When he arrived, he introduced himself and verified the scope of work requested. He went straight to work. When complete he explained everything he did, showed pictures of things that would need work, and answered all of my questions. "I moved into my house in November 2009 and my home inspection (during the buying process) indicated there were some missing shingles on the roof and the chimney flashing had dry rot. I called a few roofers, based on Angie's list reviews, and liked that USA Roofing was a woman-owned business. <br /> Tammy was very pleasant and provided a free estimate since she was already in the area.  Additionally, she was one of the more responsive roofers I called for quotes (not that the others were unresponsive, I just felt more comfortable talking with Tammy). She and her co-worker (it's been so long I don't remember his name, but he was also very friendly) spent quite a bit of time on the roof and even took pictures so she could show them to me after.  I assumed the roof was in worse condition that it actually was, and Tammy never made me feel pressured to do work that wasn't necessary.  She provided an estimate for shingle replacement, re-sealing the skylights, and replacing the chimney flashing.  She described the recommended materials she planned on using and why and also followed up with an email for the specific, detailed estimate. I was laid off about a week after that so I decided to just do the work that was highest priority; replace the shingles and reseal the skylights before winter.  Tammy was very understanding and the work was done immediately.  She matched the new shingles so well I couldn't tell which ones were new and which were old!  About 6 months later, after getting a new job, I contacted Tammy again to see if she could provide an updated quote for the remaining work; it was slightly higher, but that was due to material prices going up (related to a custom-built flashing and chimney cap that would need to be installed) and she indicated that in the new estimate. I still haven't gotten the work done (shame on me) and moved about 800 miles from Indianapolis for a job last year.  When I do get around to getting the other work done, I'll definitely be reaching out to Tammy again. <br /> <br />"
