"Repaired a very large set of brick steps. I had started the deconstruction and reconstruction but in over a month only completed 20% of the project. In 4 days 3 Brother's Masonry completed the project beautifully and even did some unrelated extra work for the quoted estimate. I agree with all of the other reviews prompt, efficient, courteous, etc."

"We needed our entire roof replaced. The group of installers did an outstanding job. They were so efficient and thorough in all aspects including an immaculate clean up of the property afterwards. The lead for the crew, and the project manager were so personable and communicative!! Our roof looks great and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone that needs roofing work done on their structure."

"I've hired many folks to do work for me during my 72+ years and 5 owned residences, and Chimney Savers easily rank among the best. Their professionalism integrity and respect remained top notch throughout the three-step process involved in the job - from Alan and Mike's timely coordination and clear communication in the office, to Jeff and Joe's conscientious efforts removing the old fireplace insert while leaving my brick hearth intact, Jeff and Cam's long hours installing a new chimney and wood stove in a day, and Curt and Bob's finishing touches in a foot of snow to install the custom cap. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services."

"It went really great. Dave has fabulous workmen that are reliable, there every day, communicative. He would check in every so often as well, and was always available. He uses an online site that shows exactly what's been done every day, with photographs each day, and the ability to send message back and forth through the site. We were constantly in the know and always felt we were treated really well. We had never done a project this size, and we were consulted every step of the way. When we needed advice on design, color, etc., Dave was great and we quickly realized we has similar tastes. We trusted him completely. And we LOVE our kitchen. <br /> Dave is consistently attentive, helpful, trustworthy, and just an all around great contractor to work with. Even our cat loved him, and that's saying a lot as she is quite frightened of workmen. <br /> Dave and his company come highly recommended. No negative comments at all! <br />"

"My initial contact with Leelands was 10 years ago. I really admired the work they had done on my neighbors house. I just couldn't afford slate repair or replacement at the time. The employees were always courteous and patient. Fast forward to May 2018, I had exhausted all the patching my roof could take. I contacted Leelands, Donna promptly scheduled Luke to come out for an estimate. Luke was on time and provided honest feedback. I recieved a Photo Report, Field Condition Report and Proposals a few weeks later. It took me a few more months to decide how to proceed. In October, Leelands sent Gabriel and Miguel to make the repairs. They were prompt, courteous and worked diligently to finish the job. After a rainy 2018, my roof is still leak free."

"Our house was built in 1892 and had weep holes as drainage (little troughs that go from the outer walls to the main drain). We wanted to get rid of water in the basement and install French drains. The appraiser, Joe, was early, nice, professional and straightforward. The price on the appraisal was the price we paid. We dealt with Melanie for scheduling, and she was organized and professional. The work was done on schedule within 10 days of the quote. There was a snag when a pipe in the basement floor (where the main drain for the house entered the floor) cracked because of nearby work and leaked slightly. However, once we called Melanie, she immediately had the president of the company call us back. They returned immediately and fixed it. We would definitely use this company again because of their promptness and professionalism.   <br />"

"We bought a building that was going to be demolished in the Page extension/ Hwy 364 route.  We owned property adjacent to the building and had Expert House Movers move the structure approximately 1000 foot across a roadway and onto a new foundation.  I was amazed that they were able to do it without any of the brick fascade cracking/crumbling.  Before the building was lifted and moved, we inspected the interior of the building and took a black marker to areas of interior drywall cracking. After having them lift and move the building, there were no new cracks and the existing cracks were unchanged.  I couldn't believe it.  I would highly recommend them.  It's unbelievable to see the buildings and structures they have moved. <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Lebanon, NH

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
