"After I spent $500 on Freon two weeks ago my A/C is not working again. The person in the office said I have a freon leak, but the tech never informed me about that. I would have never had him add freon, if it was leaking. The tech didn't give me a copy of the invoice I signed, he said he would email it to me. Never received the email & all of the sudden the invoice states I didn't want the leak repaired which Tech never mentioned. The invoice only showed the price. ***Beware this must be their way to get you to spend more money*** SCAM***I will let my family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers know how they do business."

"WONDERFUL!!!!! I called and left message. Promptly returned my call and set up time for crew to come and check on my well and pump. The well and pump originally served as water for the home and later served as irrigation. There was no water and when there was it was orange. The crew arrived led by Cody. First they found a wiring problem - corrected that so the breaker box wouldn't trip. Then they pulled the pump but not before completely informing me of cost and what they were doing. My pump was broken, over 20 years old, and there were several connections in the piping that were corroded and leaking. All were repaired and a new pump installed with warranty. The crew came clean and left dirty after over three hours of wrangling the 100 ft of piping and pump installation. They were super nice and just great at their work. They seemed to really enjoy what they were doing."

"In 2021 we hired Killman to replace our upstairs AC unit. Within several months the unit was not working. When we called Killman for a service charge on the newly installed unit, they told us they were too busy to come out and we should call another company. We were shocked that they would not stand by their work. When I wrote a review on Google that reflected their lack of customer service the owner called my 90 year old mother ranting about the Google review and harassed and scared her so much she asked me to remove the review. Because she was upset and in tears as a result of his phone call, I removed it. (During his phone call he never offer to repair his work - his only concern was the Google review.) We then called another company to come out and fix it (they came within a day by the way). They told us the unit was not installed properly and not installed to code, so it kept tripping the breaker and the compressor was shot. The compressor was replaced at a big cost to us. And we have had intermittent problems with the unit ever since the install. Now it is not working AGAIN and the HVAC company who came out told us the because the unit was improperly installed, the unit keeps failing in all different ways so a replacement is the best option. In looking at this company's Google reviews you would think they walked on water, but in our experience of being harassed to remove a bad review, it's not surprising. I would recommend you avoid this company at all costs."

"I called on sunday and he was on site in little over an hour. He had all the parts necessary and had the work done in about 30 mins or less. Was very professional and polite. Answered all questions I asked. I can't say enough on how much I appreciated his work. If we have anymore issues we will definitely call him again."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Leesville, SC

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
