"I had probably 8 streams of water POURING water into my basement which was plaguing me every storm. From beginning to end the experience I had with the basement gurus was top notch. They came out and assessed the problem, explained in detail what would need to be done and due to being busy gave us a month or so out. They called us up saying hey we’re good for a time much earlier than predicted if needed we took the time slot and were done within a day. "They come once a year. They don't appear to have a standard checklist for what their technicians are suppose to do. Consequently, everyone does something different. In addition to that, they don't appear to have the appropriate training because they come up with various levels of conclusions. One guy might say everything is fine, another guy says you need a new air conditioner. Another guy says a new humidifier and a new filter. It's nice that they come and look at the furnace. I can get about as much out of it if I send them a picture. I had this done for about 10 times and that's what's occurred in over 10 visits. Some people re excellent. They do a wonderful job. Other people are clueless. They want his and they want that. The air conditioner is still running and that was two years ago. On the other hand because of that service contract, if there's any problem, I go to the top of the list for prioritization. I get an immediate response for anything I call in. For the most part, I think it's the labor, there's no cost on minor repairs. I pay them $28 a month. They come when you call them and they do a reasonable job."

"Everything went excellent. the owner met with us several times to layout the kitchen. He made suggestions and listened to our thoughts. Our thoughts were that he had the experience so we usually went with his suggestions. Things we wanted he worked with us to give us what we wanted. He accommodated us when we made changes. Workers were here when they said they would be. They explained what they were doing and asked questions about what we wanted. They accommodated us when we wanted changes or didn't like the way something was. The workmanship was excellent. We had a problem with the wrong stove being ordered and several minor things that needed to be corrected or change. These things were done in a timely matter. We feel that the workers made sure we were satisfied with everything before they left."

"Ken did a complete bathroom remodel for us from the floor to the ceiling. He was always on time and the whole remodel was finished on time. The work was great and weeks after he finished, we wanted the water temperature adjusted and Ken responded quickly . Ken is a easy person to deal with and he does not over charge or adjust his estimated cost higher after he starts the remodel."
