"It went well. They responded promptly to my request for service. Initial inspection of the attic, they believed we had squirrels and a huge birds' nest. They then closed/screened off all entry points. However, once I reported actually seeing a raccoon in the yard, they put out traps and a camera. The raccoon avoided the traps but Mike's Pest Control was persistent, regularly checking the traps and trying different baits. They didn't stop their attempts until the raccoon was caught. If I have any other incidents like this one, I will use them again."

"They were good, they did not charge me any thing, they put in anew motor back in and a screen on top to keep the animals out. I had one major leak and the came back and refilled it, their price is fairly good and overall he is pretty good and i appreciate that he came back and fixed it. "I had to call the office several times to actually make the appointment for the men to come. The gentleman I spoke to was polite and explained that because of the special offer response which was great it would take  some time to get out to do the work. I understood that.
However, when the service men came to do the chimney the tools they brought were inadequate. The brush was small and the vacuum they used looked like a residential model shop vac. Although they were very pleasant and on time I know from comparing what they did to past chimney cleaning experiences that it was a very poor and incomplete job. I am planning to have the chimney recleaned this fall because we live in a very old frame house and I cannot risk a chimney fire. I'm certain that the amount of creosote and soot I can see when I look up the chimney is still too much.
I wonder if this job was less than the usual full priced job they do because it was an Angie's List "special". I will not take part in any more of those deals. In the long run they are no deal at all. If the company was hoping to get business as a result of the exposure of this promotion I can only say that I will not call them again.
