Customers say: Quality work

"I had them build a small cinder block wall to replace one that had been removed years ago by previous owners. The men were professional and the wall came out perfect. I will recommend them to anyone and will use them again!"

"Rene and his sub-contractor David did an outstanding job laying our 9x13 paver patio. Rene gave me the company name who supplies his pavers and we were able to visit their outdoor showroom and choose our pavers. Rene gave tips about the installation and shape of the patio that we hadn’t considered before. David and the crew did an excellent installation job, taking care not to damage our grass or shrubs. They even went above and beyond by using some of their concrete from the base to patch some holes in our curb and gutter which saved my husband a lot of hot work. They did not charge for that small amount of work. Rene suggested waiting for a month or so before sealing the pavers which we did. We have already requested and received a quote from Rene for sealing the pavers before winter arrives. Although our patio was small they treated it as though it was as important as a larger job. We could not be happier with the job they did and would highly recommend them to others needing this type of work."

"Outstanding service from bid to completion! Roman assessed the project and provided a written bid in a timely manner. He and his crew were able to begin the job in a timely manner. Unlike other crews I've hired, this team showed up when they said they would to make the repairs. They were especially careful to be tidy and responded to all questions. If you are looking for someone who delivers outstanding service at a fair price, look no further! Thank you, Brick Pros!"

"The company did not provide a quote. I made it clear to the salesperson up front I was looking for competitive bids (to try to save time on the bidding process) on Provia exterior doors and was more or less told by the salesperson that they don't sell to price-conscious clientele and they don't repair doors because they don't want the headaches. By the reviews, I'm sure they are a great company, but with such an attitude and not even willing to bid the work (been a couple of weeks now), that is not likely a company I would want to work with anyway as it appears to me they don't want customers that might be demanding or actually have expectations on price or quality, and high price does not always mean good quality in my experience with the trades. The salesperson was nice and spent a fair amount of time explaining why they don't need my business. I've never been in that kind of position, but more power to them and I wish them well. I'd give an F for the smug and unhelpful company attitude who doesn't need my business and an A for at least coming and explaining why they don't need my business which is why I'm giving them at least a C for half-hearted effort."

"They did an excellent job from preparation to final painting. Exceptional attention to detail. Anything we questioned or asked for they responded with a smile and immediate action. Job was finished on schedule. David Higgins, the project manager, stayed on top of the job and did a complete inspection with us after the job was completed. Should any problems arise, David said to call him and they would take care of it. The painting and prep crew were a pleasure to work with, Renault (alias Chipotle), GeGe (not sure of his name), and Luis. I strongly recommend Mission Painting for a professional job at a fair price."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Kansas City, MO

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
