"Derrick F, Ian J, and Thomas N, did a great job communicating with me on everything that was going to happen during each phase of the repair. I have to admit, I was not impressed with the communication with the initial process of scheduling. They could use some help in ensuring communication lines are open with the consumer!! As far as the crew that completes the project A++!! I was very impressed with their work ethic as well as enthusiasm in completing the job in a timely manner!!"

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"We responded to an ad. They have a huge ad in the Sunday paper every week. We had been thinking about it anyway because our unit was pretty small for this house. So we thought we would take advantage and have them come out and talk to us about our system. We had a heat pump so we didn't have to buy a complete furnace and the a separate air conditioner. We have a compressor and it heats or it cools, so we didn't have to have any duct work replaced or anything like that. It was just replacing out the units. <br /> <br /> The man that came out knew a whole lot about every single option that we brought up, cause we showed him the ad. They were able to work with us to lower the price by taking off options. If we didn't want to the air inside the duct work to be irradiated with led lights, they'd take that off. If we didn't want to build in the price of yearly cleaning free, which isn't free, they would take that off. Or becoming a member of a club, so if you work with them you can pretty well get the price you want.  <br /> <br /> They were able to come in a couple of days. I was at work, but my husband said that the crew was amazing. The air conditioner part looks outstanding, a really good unit, we're very happy with it. The crew were outstanding. They came out later because they put a new slab over the old slab outside so we could put the compressor on it and they covered one of the sprinkler heads. So they came back out to work it around so the sprinkler head was exposed. I thought that was really nice of them.  <br /> <br /> You can buy cheaper units but Lenox is pretty good quality. We'll have them to come out and service the unit because we bought it from them. <br />"

"After calling several plumbing service providers about replacing a busted downstream ball valve for my backflow preventer piping on my sprinkler system, I finally spoke to Ronnie – owner, Texas Master Plumber (TMP) – about a call out for repairs. Unlike the people I spoke to earlier, Ronnie stated he did not charge for service calls. Other plumbers charged between $50 to $175 to simply come out and evaluate the problem and solution. Alton was waiting for me when I arrived at my home from work. Alton took a few minutes to assess the problem and mentioned it should take him about 30 minutes to replace all the backflow preventer piping not just the cracked downstream valve. Alton was wrong. He completed the replacement in about 20 minutes. Alton – at no additional charge – installed a brace clamp to secure the piping to my brick exterior. Alton also educated me on the proper procedure to make certain during freeze situations this situation would be repeated. About 3 weeks after this service call, I called Ronnie again to arrange repairs for my aunt’s toilet. I surmised her toilet was not flushing due to a faulty flush valve. My aunt had 2 plumbers come out previously that did not solve the problem, but offered to further investigate the problem for more money. TMP employee Cory solved the problem in a little over an hour. Texas Master Plumber is a no BS and professional organization. Hey, they must make a profit to survive. But I do not believe overcharging and sub par workmanship is a common and accepted practice in this company. I hope to have the same positive interactions with this company in the future."

"I called to have my pump checked because it was spraying water into the air. Although he was a bit abrupt on the phone, he agreed to come out the next day and fix the problem. In person, he was very nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how my system works, since I inherited the well from the previous owner and did not know much about it. He checked the system, repaired a pipe that had a hairline crack and tested it to make sure it was working properly. A very good and thorough job from a nice man. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Liberty, TX

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
