"Lewis was fantastic. He called me right away when I asked for a quote and came right out to examine my bathroom. While he was there, I asked him to take a look at our deck. He found some other things that could use some work, but was not pushy about it. Aside from beautiful work in our bathroom, Lewis and his crew painted our deck, stabilized it, fixed some water damage that we had and improved the flow of rain water off the deck, and repointed stone work that was water damaged on the level of our garage on our rowhome. I am keeping Sissi Construction's number handy for any future projects. I highly recommend this fantastic company. "Anthony was very friendly and professional and even called to say he was going to be 10-15 minutes late because he was caught in traffic. He took a look at the faucet we had and discovered that we actually had a leak in the pipe inside the house that fed the outdoor faucet. He fixed the portion of the pipe that had split and installed the faucet - but he did not charge us for the extra labor and parts for fixing the pipe that had split - even after we insisted. We are fans for life and will call DTS on any future plumbing needs we have! I highly recommend DTS Plumbing to others!"

"B&W Complete Home Services (Ben and Ian) were on time, professional, knowledgeable, and fair. They are two personable, jolly, and good-natured men. I was actually so floored by how good of a job they did for such a great price that I gave them a tip. Ben and Ian diagnosed the problem (a broken seal and rusted pipe) and were able to replace these parts within two hours. While they were here, they even unclogged a slow-moving sink for me! Ben and Ian are two honest, talented, experienced contractors and I will be using B&W Complete Home Services for all of my home-repair needs in Kansas City for as long as I live here. "That was explained in my review.  Total gutting and remodeling of kitchen and dining room.  Replace rail and spindles on stairs in entryway.  Paint whole house including trim and ceilings.  New wood floors in kitchen, entry, and dining room.  New carpet throughout rest of house.  Remodel guest bathroom.  We were given wonderful advice and guidance throughout the whole process.  Everyone we worked with was not only expert at what they do individually buy all worked together for a common goal--they made sure everything was done to perfection.  Rex even made a custom cat door for me!  I could not be happier with the way everything turned out--it is beautiful.  I have never had such a positive experience with a remodel, or any kind of work of this kind.  Paul was not only great to work with, but very talented and has a great design eye for what is needed."

"We purchased an Angie's List coupon, 4 hours of handyman labor for $99,00.  A company rep called promptly and we scheduled a time for the person to come out and look at some minor deck repair that we needed. The rep found other items that he felt were more important. We said that we would consider the other items but wanted a bid for the work we requested. g post to one of the railing. We opted not to have those services performed as the bid seemed high and we could do that work ourselves. Also, it was difficult to tell on the bid if the 4 hours of labor that we paid for in advance had been accounted for.



But, we kept working with the company and ended up having them replace a door and replace some boards on the exterior of the house. The bid for this work was also vague with regards to the 4 hours of labor that we paid for so I'm not sure how that was worked into the cost.



Also, my husband had to contact the company repeatedly to get the work we decided on scheduled. However, once the work was completed, we were very pleased as the individuals that performed the work did an excellent job and we believe that the work was done at a very reasonable price.



So, the biggest problem was getting the work scheduled and dealing with an unclear bid. If you can work through those issues, the work itself is great which to us is the most important consideration.
