"Todd did great work on leveling our driveway where washout had occurred underneath. Due to COVID supply cost increases, it was a little more than I hoped to spend (thus the 4.5 stars on value), but Todd was really transparent with us about that up front. Would recommend H2No! for anyone looking to level concrete slabs!"

"After researching about a dozen foundation repair companies and narrowing my selection down to two…We selected Foundation Doctor over a national firm. So glad we did. From the very beginning, it was a delightful and professional experience:  Our salesperson (Michael) accurately diagnosed the problem and prescribed a workable solution.  Administrative tasks and communications were efficiently, comprehensively, and in a friendly manner handled by Angella. She expertly coordinated the schedules of the independent engineer who certified the repair; and the onsite team who skillfully implement the repair plan.  The onsite team (Alecia, Reiley, and Jackie) effected the repair, keeping my wife (who was initially very concerned about The Lift process) and me personally informed through every step of the process…Patiently answering our many questions and alleviating any concerns we had about the process of securing the foundation of our home. As a former VP of Sales & Marketing for a top"

"Mark arrived and viewed our problem. He gave us sound advice about how to fix our water intrusion problem. Unfortunately, his company does not provide the service we need (pouring concrete). His advice was sound and made so much sense to us. We had met with another company who recommended a variety of measures which were all extremely costly. Mark was honest and credible. The Moisture Loc company must have great ethics to offer advice that will take their business to a different company. We will definitely keep this company in our rolodex!

"The fellow who owned it came out and gave us the estimate and then came out and did the work. Their pricing was very competitive with other companies and the patch looks natural as can be."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Locust, NC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
