"I called to schedule a 1-hour in-home computer tune-up.  The person I spoke with seemed very professional and we made an appointment for 3:30 pm the next Friday.  ON the day of the appointment, my husband got a call at 9 am from someone who said he was coming to our house and was going to late.  The guy calling had trouble explaining who he was, but my husband figured out eventually that he was coming from Geek Choice and that he thought the appointment was at 9 am.  My husband explained that I wasn't home and that the appointment was actually scheduled for 3:30 pm.  The technician was pretty upset - despite the fact that he was half an hour away from our house at that time.  But he did agree to come at 3:30 pm.
At 3:50 pm, no sign of him.  I called to see what was going on.  He didn't apologize, just said he was caught in traffic -- that Friday afternoons are a bad time to be on the highway.  At the time, he was so far away that even without  traffic it would have taken him 30 minutes to get to our house.  I said we would need to reschedule and he seemed shocked.  I decided that with that level of customer service, I would just find someone else.

"I think they did a pretty good job for a good price (waived trip fee & charged $75/hr for 2 techs to complete the job). Had them install cable (CATV and antenna) to a room which previously had no outlets -- involved bringing cables in from outside to one side of our attic, across the attic and down thru the wall. Was quite satisfied with that aspect. Also had them hang a wall mount for a 52" TV & was not quite so happy with some of their choices. I think (hope) it is secure, but they were imprecise in ensuring lag bolts centered on studs and ignored mount installation instructions, using a hammer drill instead of drilling a 1/4" guide hole."

"I had called several different electricians during a remodel of the master bedroom and bathroom. Each had gems of information that I learned, but pricing was all over the board. After reading reviews here, I called Konstantine, and on a time crunch during the remodel, he came out on a Sunday to give me a quote with his family in the car waiting patiently. He didn't rush me, as we walked thru the house, he inspected outlets, wiring, asked detailed questions of what I wanted and where. His demeanor is so nice and gentle, and I could tell immediately he is an honest guy that wasn't there to do things to make money. He sent me an email quote that same night, the price seemed great and I called him the next day to schedule. Him and his partner came, and he made some additional suggestions since we had some of the walls open like pulling cat6 cabling. We ended up adding an outlet in the closet for a server room with cat6 cabling running to the master upstairs and to another room downstairs. We added yet another outlet (also not on the original quote) in the guest room where I was going to have a plasma. All along it was a "no problem, we'll take care of it". His partner and him speak I think russian together as they work, it's interesting to hear them speak, but you can tell they are husting. I felt comfortable enough to leave them in the house to continue working with other contractors in the house as I went back to work. The amazing thing is that he didn't collect a check from me after the work. He just said he'd come back when it's convenient for me, or when he comes back to install the light fixtures after the painting etc. He's already come back once to install all the switches and outlets, and wasn't bothered at all that he'd have to come back to hang the vanity light and hallway lights when they come in next week. The quote didn't grow that much even though he had to add 2 outlets and 3 cat 6 slots, and is coming out 3X's. After dealing with another contractor who didn't have the level of "make the customer happy" it was really refreshing to see that he really cares about his customers and knows that folks like me will write reviews like this, and refer anyone out there that needs an electrician that they can trust. Smart guy :) I'm absolutely going to use him for everything in the future as we remodel the rest of the house. Oh, and he even had enough insight to pre-wire for the bathroom in the master for the future remodel, pulling new wires up while the master walls were exposed which will save us money when we remodel the bathroom. I loved the proactive thinking."
