We did request an end-cap for one of our gutters that was included in the quote, but they never came back out to install. "We recently had an unfortunate pin-hole leak in a water pipe in our ceiling which resulted in an insurance claim involving water damaged sheet rock, insulation, tile, and miscellaneous electrical component, removal and replacement of all damaged items to their original state. After removing the water damaged components, the area was "blown dry" for several days to prevent any mold growth.
Ray was asked to evaluate and bid for the restoration evaluation process. He arrived on-time for our estimate appointment and was friendly and professional and very attentive to our needs in his evaluation of our requests. We asked Ray to provide a breakdown of costs involving:
1. Replace ceiling sheet rock and insulation, including recessed lighting fixtures and possible electrical components.
2. Since the kitchen wall was damaged due to the water pipe leak, we asked for a separate estimate to replace our existing sliding glass doors and sliding glass windows with energy efficient double pane fixtures. We stated that this estimate would be outside of the realm of insurance coverage, and would be at our expense.

3. Replace the kitchen wall sheet rock and tile. Prime and paint the ceiling and wall.
4. All phases and estimates would include clean-up costs and final payment would be issued upon my inspection and acceptance of all work done.
Ray provided the detailed estimate on time via email.
We chose another contractor/restoration firm based on the estimates provided and the insurance coverage. If we choose to proceed with our opportunity to remodel, we may still choose Ray for the additional sliding glass door and sliding glass window replacement.
I hope we made the right decision by choosing the lower, insurance based,  replacement estimate!

Florida Lifetime was terrific. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional and punctual. Anything we wanted to know about windows they knew. They did a beautiful job. The windows are well installed and because of this the temperature in our home is constant now. "Daniel, Construction Manager, met with me at the rental.  He evaluated the remodel area as well as dining room ceiling below where there had been leakage.  He gave a clear and concise explanation of remodel process. The written proposal was accepted with the understanding that time was of essence in completing the work within a 2 week window. The remodel was at a rental and the tenant would be out-of-town duringthat window.
 The demolition was completed with perfection on day 1 by Journeyman, Adrian and a helper - it was fast and clean.
Two days into the start of the job, Daniel advised that the supplier could not provide the single surround and it could not be available within the timeframe. He suggested a 3 piece surround.  Because time was of essence, I reluctantly agreed and requested the company?s guarantee as well as the manufacturer?s warranty that the tub and surround will not leak.
Adrian completed the remodel with expertise and care.  The existing wall mirror needed to be moved to allow space in height for the new vanity cabinet.  He also patched and spackled the dining room ceiling where there had been leakage and water flow.
A glitch occurred with the plumbing where the plumber had not tightened pipes thoroughly and water flowed through the ceiling from bath tub when testing.
On the evening of completion, the tenant notice very small cracks in the surround.  The manufacturer is scheduled to repair them.
Daniel was knowledgeable and responsive to all issues as they occurred.
Sophia, the office person, was extremely pleasant to deal with regarding scheduling and reminders."
