"I highly recommend Stephen and his team at Capstone Remodeling! I interviewed 5 contractors, two of which were full design firms. Estimates ranged widely. Capstone was neither the highest, nor the lowest but they came highly recommended by several people in my area. (Found recommendations on Angie's List and NextDoor. Steve was the only one that sent in a detailed estimate that included a checklist of work to be performed and I was happy with his willingness to answer questions and flexible timing for starting the project (due to supply/delivery issues with materials). Once the project got started, I realized pretty quickly that I had made a great choice. Steve and his team were very professional. They showed up and left on time every day. They kept things clean and laid down tarps between the front door, garage, and the workspace. They even laid plastic over all of the furniture and drapery in the master bedroom to minimize the cleanup afterwards. The hall bath remodel was completed first and took just over two weeks from start to finish. No plumbing was moved, but the entire bathroom was gutted and rebuilt. The craftsmanship was fantastic. The master bath was started immediately after the hall bath and was finished in just three weeks! It was also completely gutted and rebuilt from scratch; the toilet was shifted over and the bathtub drain was moved too. Throughout the entire process Steve made a point to communicate progress and to ask me about my preference whenever there was a question of finishes (e.g. height of towel bar, or size of niche). The craftsmanship of the work is top-notch and I'm so thrilled to have gotten a reasonable, responsible contractor. I've already recommended him to a couple of other people in my neighborhood and plan to hire his company again for my next project."

"Simmons Home Improvement, LLC did a wonderful job on my project. They replaced an attic fan and louver system in my attic over the garage. It was complicated. Demetri made suggestions and recommendations as to the system proposed, work to be done and keep me updated all along the way. They finished the job inside and out beautifully which included installation of the system, electrical and replacing siding that needed to be cut and reinstalled due to adjustments that needed to be made. "ICM Remodeling was the winning bidder when I recently upgraded my 2 bedroom condo.  The work included removing a portion of a wall to create a kitchen breakfast bar area, gutting and completely replacing the kitchen and bath, repainting the entire condo and installing new carpet throughout.  ICM's bid was extremely competitive and included mostly labor.  As for material, Israel worked very closely with me in selecting and purchasing new tile for kitchen and bath, new cabinets and vanity, lighting, toilet and tub.



The installation went quite smoothly, with cabinets, new kitchen appliances and other materials arriving on schedule.  In many cases, ICM picked up the material from the supplier.  Several times, ICM also helped with the delivery of items from independent retailers.  ICM also worked with the granite supplier in the installation of the new kitchen countertops.



ICM made sure to cover the furniture, tables, television and electronic equipment during the project, in order to protect them from dust.  They were diligent about cleaning up and making the condo livable after work each day.  At every step, Israel was very good at explaining what to expect, the progress of the job, and how everything would look.  We was always available to discuss my concerns, and was responsive to all my questions and requests.  He showed up when he said he would, and his staff was competent and helpful.



When the bulk of the project was complete, Israel and his team went through and addressed each one of the touch up items to my satisfaction.  In fact, ICM went beyond my expectations in making sure I was pleased with all aspects of their work.

"Extremely well. A leak in a kitchen pipe destroyed the floor, which had to be rebuilt from the subfloor up. While we were at it, we decided to remodel the entire kitchen, which involved removing cabinets and old wall paper and patching and painting the walls. The crew did an excellent job, with great attention to detail. They arrived on time each morning and left everything in order at day's end. I couldn't have asked for more."

Mike has been my designer, general contractor and project manager for over three years. He and his team of subcontractors for all the trades and handymen have successfully completed numerous projects for me. The other jobs Mike and his team completed include installing decorative lighting in the front of my house and security lighting at the sides and back; installing and repairing wooden privacy fencing in my backyard; washing away years of mold, mildew and stains from the siding of my house; and installing shelving for two closets and the laundry room to increase my storage space. After years of City Renovations and Remodeling successfully improving or repairing my home, I hired the company to help me with an investment rental property. Mike completed a walk-thru assessment and report to supplement the information from the home inspector and appraiser. Through my pre-purchase consultation with Mike, I got a good idea of what it would take improve the property given my goals and budget.
