"A technician arrived at the appointed time and easily diagnosed the problem. I had purchased the unit and had it installed 6 years prior by another company but I couldn't recall if it was still under warranty. The tech did some research and found out it was under warranty and rather than charging me for more than $49 service call, suggested I call the original installing company, since that might save me money with labor, stating he would gladly do the repair if that was my preference. I did decide to call the installer, and that was the right decision since it was a problem with a part they had already replaced for me, they had had the same problem with other units from the manufacturer. "It was a little complicated. As far as the plumbing work, that went fine. They're a little bit high pressure on their service contract. I ended up signing for a service contract for $15 a month. It's an automatic withdrawal so I have to wait for a year to undo it. I just wanted my plumbing fixed. I don't want the service contract. It was a simple job. They're polite. I ended up paying an additional $200."
