"I called U.S. Window Repair around 9 a.m. A technician, Sam, came around 11:30 and fixed the windows in less than 10 minutes. No sales pitch, just a quick efficient repair. It can be difficult to find a vendor to do smaller repair jobs. I will definitely contact them for any future window repair or replacement needs."

"We paid a premium for Thompson Creek because they are a local co. and offer a lifetime warranty. They installed 12 windows about 10 years ago. We are satisfied with the windows. They told us at install that the warranty covers accidental damage. They did come out to replace screens damaged by a pet. We noticed some weatherstripping starting to crack and they said that was normal wear/tear. They have come out to touch up caulk on several occasions. The reason we would not use them again is that you pay a premium due to the warranty, but any customer service is a pain. You will wait on hold each time you call for 20-30 min. They will typically cancel the first scheduled visit. If you need anythim more than simple caulk or screen replacement, they will send someone to inspect/take photos, and then they won't follow-up. We will not use or recommend them again due to the poor service."

"Easy to do business with.  No real price deals.  Dinged them on punctuality because they showed up at 1130 vice the agreed time of 1-2PM.  My daughter just happened to be here so it was no problem, but normally no one would have been home.  They called about 15-20 minutes ahead and I assume if no one answered the phone they would have come during the agreed upon window.  The screen was purchased over the phone.  No pre-sale visit for measuring or to show the product (they said pre-measuring was not necessary).  A local Lowes had a single door version that we were able to see beforehand.  Apparently installation was quick and easy and clear maintenance directions were provided.  They were gone by the time I got home about 1245.  I probably would have bought a Clearview retractable screen because the return mechanism creates a more gentle return, but the only distributor in the DC area is Liberty Screens and they have been blocked on Angies list and have an F rating from the better business bureau so we wouldn't take a chance with them.  All told, Tri-State provided a good product, with little hassle, installed it properly, and I would not hesitate to use them in the future. <br />"

"Jeff came out on 9/2/15 to do the initial quote on the project.  He was professional and to the point since I had done some homework on the product that they carried.  The quote was much like I expected and the measurement and ordering was done without much of a hitch.  The "window walls" seemed to provide a small challenge; the opening was so large that a metal post was used to support the header.  They seemed to come up with a plan for that and set the installation date once the windows were received.  Dave and his crew came out for a couple of days to do the installation.  Overall, they did a great job to keep things cleaned up as they did their work.  I was a little surprised at some of the holes that were made in the drywall to remove the old windows.  Later, Drew provided a check to cover the repair cost (this was a class move).  <br>I have waited to provide a review until we have had a chance to experience a couple seasons with the product.  The Berkshire Elite Double Hung and Picture windows that were installed have been an excellent investment.  The old aluminum frame windows we had leaked air and frosted over in the winter.  The frames of the replacements hardly felt cold to the touch.  Now, as we have had better weather, we are able to open the whole house and let the fresh air in.  Doesn't seem like much, but before we had screens on only a few windows. <br>Overall, I am very pleased with the services and product provided by Windows Universe and I hope that this review will help others experience the great deal I believe I received from this company. <br>"

"We had 4 different projects that we needed help with. 1. Window frame leak. During a recent storm, we noticed water rapidly dripping from the drywall above the window. 2. The weather stripping for the front door was visibly coming undone and the door was sagging against the left side of the frame. 3. Our master bedroom shower needed recaulking and had leaked through to the floor below. 4. The floor below had a hole in the ceiling from the aforementioned leak. Two technicians came out and walked through each of the problem areas with me and assessed the situation. They were courteous and professional. Overall, they finished quicker than anticipated and did a fantastic job. I would definitely reach out to them again for other projects."
