Fast-forward to last month: we wanted to install more recessed lights along with a ceiling fan in our living room. Lucky for us, we were able to work with Rob again. The shape of our room is awkward and asymmetrical, but Rob provided some great options and suggestions, and pointed out some details we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. "We could not be more pleased with the screen porch Tim O’Neill designed and his Northern Deckworks team, led by John, built. Both functional and beautiful, Tim’s design is perfect for us. We opted for the EZ Breeze window system and a gas fireplace. This will enable us to enjoy our porch nearly year-round. From the outset, Tim and John kept us updated on the status of our job, permits, when deliveries would occur, when the crew would be on site, etc. The crew was respectful of our property, and the job site was clean every day when they left. From the plans all the way through the final product, Tim insisted on quality – of materials and construction – and attention to detail. The result is very aesthetically pleasing. Everyone who’s seen the porch has commented on how it’s so much more than “just a porch.” Tim’s artistic design has become a wonderful reality. We look forward to enjoying our Northern Deckworks porch for many years."

"We gave this company multiple opportunities to perform based on their Angi’s ratings even after they did not treat our lawn properly and essentially a combination of grubs plus and excessive spraying of weed killer did massive damage to a lawn we had been looking after meticulously for more than a decade. We also tried to use them for yard work but they charged by the hour and they sent staff who were more focused on complaining about the job they were sent to do and talking on the phone than working on it. This is after waiting for almost a month for them to come. As a result the job took way more hours than needed and we ended up paying a fortune. Overall we had a terrible experience. We do not recommend this provider."

"Thomas and company did the chimney inspection, promptly sent reasonably priced estimate, came back few days later to complete the chimney work. Have had them do inspections in past years and will continue to use their services. Excellent quality so very professional, prompt service. "

"Tech arrived 1 hour late, due to complication from a previous job(as told to me by dispatcher). Work was completed in 4.5 hours to replace 2 shut off valves in a bathroom and kitchen sink, install a pressure reducing valve in the basement and repair a pipe on the exterior of the house. The tech also repaired leaks in a water pipe. I was pleased with the work but unprepared for how the costs were calculated per the advertised special. If I hire MPB again, I would need to know which jobs the promo covered and budget accordingly."
