But the good thing about that is everyone gets to read a review with an update 1.5 years later on the quality of the work completed! In late 2020 I had recently moved into my new home and the gas water heater wasn't working properly. It was leaky and at least needed the pressure relief valve replaced, but the tank was well past it's expected lifetime. The techs were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The valve replacement wasn't going to work because repairing the tank could damage it further, so the tank was replaced instead. The price was very reasonable and installation was done really well. They did a great job with cleanup too! One and a half years later and the tank has had zero issues! I would definitely recommend them for heavy jobs like this or more simple ones around the house. Thank you very much!"

"Our refrigerator stopped working on Christmas Eve. I called For a repair the day after Christmas thinking that it might take a week to get an appointment. Dave said that he could come right out that day. While there to fix the refrigerator, we mentioned that the dryer was making a horrible screeching noise. He fixed that too. He did need to order a part for the refrigerator but was able to get it going perfectly until the part came in. Once the part arrived, he returned to do the final repair. It's nice to know who to call when I need an appliance repaired. Dave is very professional and does great work. If you need a repair, I would recommend Drapeau's Appliance Repair."

I had come to the decision of gutting my 50 year old bathroom and replacing it  with a new one and a call was made to The Kitchen Center.
They were courteous, respectable and professional during our conversations. After I chose them to work in my home, details of the remodel were given and all of my questions were answered. .A detailed contracted was issued which included a timetable for the projected work to be done. They continued to answer all other questions throughout the project.
The project began and was completed as discussed. Dust control measures and floor protection was provided which assisted in keeping my home dust and dirt free with all the workers in and out. Another smart move on their part was to put a lock box on my door which allowed the workers to come and go as needed. This also gave me the freedom to do what I needed to do at any time.
I know that there is always a snag during construction projects. In my case it was a tile issue which was taken care of according to the project specs. For this I was greatly appreciative that my best interests were of the upmost importance to the Kitchen Center.
My experiences with the sub contractors,of which were many, were all of a positive nature.
My new bathroom is beautiful and was worth the wait!

"Overall, we were very happy working with United and love the look of our new bathrooms and closet! The initial quote was very fair and similar to other estimates we received. We appreciated the fixed pricing for the project which encompassed many of the unexpected surprises/delays that inevitably come up when doing renovations in an old building. United even went above and beyond and repaired small things in other parts of the condo that weren't part of the initial contract. All of the workers were respectful, efficient and cleaned up after themselves each day. The carpenter hired by United was fantastic and took extra care to ask our preferences and confirm the design at several points before build/installation. The closets look amazing. For the most part, the craftsmanship for the project was beautiful. At the end of the project there were a few places (molding/paint/grout work) where the finishes needed some touching up and Giovani was incredibly responsive to our requests and fixed them right away. Jackie was a great contact throughout the project, always helped to address each of our questions and concerns and was a great liaison help communicate with Giovani, Alessandro and all of the subcontractors. Overall the project took about 12 weeks, longer than initially quoted but about what we were expecting. The only part of the project we weren't happy with was the company United contracted with to install the glass shower doors for the bathrooms. While the end product looks great, we encountered many issues along the way, including cracking of our glass tile during installation (twice) and incorrectly measuring the glass for the door in the other bathroom. United was great about repairing all the damage, but it added significant delays to the project. All in all, we really love the look of our remodel and would definitely hire United again for future projects."

The team came and installed chicken wire and vinyl fencing around the base of my shed (which is on blocks). It looks beautiful and will keep the pests away."

"Northeast Bath built me the bathroom of my dreams and I love it!  Dave Hamblett was the primary worker, though frequently assisted by his father Frank (who handcrafted the cabinetry and handled a significant amount of installation work).  Dave provided a very detailed estimate in record time, and every single item on that estimate was addressed without any surprises.  The core of the project took about 7 weeks, with some delays due to scheduling issues with Town inspectors, and an unreliable electrical subcontractor.  Once the core work was done, we had a fully functional guest bath but without a tiled floor since the chosen tile was backordered.  The master bath was semi-functional due to our decision to go with a custom Basco shower enclosure.  It took nearly three months to get the custom glass doors installed (a long manufacturing cycle) plus some scheduling challenges due to personal business travel.  But it was well worth the wait.  Dave and Frank do excellent, careful work, and use the best available materials.  Dave was a pleasure to work with, and it is fair to say that some key design elements of the master bath resulted from a very effective and open collaboration and exchange of ideas.  While the project was ongoing Dave provided almost daily status updates by e-mail, and was generally highly responsive to email from me.  Because they can fabricate Corian themselves, the price is extremely good, and they could do some creative custom things.  Dave and Frank were very flexible and easy going.  They cleaned up after themselves each day, which was great given that the project lasted so many weeks.  (It really was the custom nature of almost everything which extended the time it took to complete the project.  Dave and Frank clearly emphasized quality of workmanship over sheer speed of completion.  While they worked my project they were not multitasking with other projects.
Overall it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I would recommend NEBB without hesitation.  That said, there were some minor glitches along the way.  The half-bath tile really ought to have been ordered well in advance of the start of the project; that was a back-office problem.  There were a number of occasions where I felt that I was "leading" them in terms of making critical decisions.  Having already done one bathroom renovation, we knew generally what choices we needed to make and when we needed to make them.  So we generally stayed ahead of demand, rather than waiting for NEBB to walk us thru the process.  Since bath remodeling is their specialty, they really ought to have a methodical, repeatable process for working with their customers, to ensure that everyone knows well in advance what decisions they need to make, so they have time to do the necessary research and make thoughtful choices rather than doing so under time pressure.
But all that was very minor, and completely overshadowed by the beauty of the final product.  We've shown the new bathrooms to all our friends and they all ooh and aah to no end."
