"In January, Jeff came to service my boiler, which had been shutting off randomly and required several resets. He broke the bad news that the boiler would need to be replaced relatively soon, but understood my need to plan for it and was helpful in providing information without "mansplaining." He talked through options and answered questions. When I was ready, I didn't hesitate to go with Jeff and crew for the replacement job. The quote was fair and I trusted him and his team to do right by me for such a big investment in my home. The system that was installed is practically a work of art! They even tucked the new water heater around the corner from the original spot, creating more space in the main walkway area of the basement. They were communicative, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. It's been 3 months and the new system seems to be working beautifully. "I am reminded again why it is so priceless to find a contractor you can trust to keep things up and running. I managed to break one of the blades in my existing disposal, so I ordered a replacement unit and called Platinum Plumbing to set up an appointment to get it installed. While in the course of emptying the contents of my under-sink cabinets, as Murphy's Law would have it, I discovered evidence of a pretty serious leak. Although the initial appointment was just to replace the disposal, I told Robert about the leak I had discovered, and he quickly diagnosed it as a faulty faucet. Thankfully, he had a gorgeous Kohler faucet & spray attachment in stock in his truck, so he was able to swap out the faulty faucet for a very nice upgraded replacement. He also discovered a serious crack in the original copper pipe feeding out of the sink drain, so he cut the cracked piece out and put in the necessary fittings to get everything back ship-shape and leak-free. As always, Robert did absolutely fantastic work on everything, and cleaned up after he was done -- I almost hate to admit it, but I'm actually looking forward to washing the dishes tonight. The price was absolutely fair for all that he did, as well. I love doing business with Robert -- he always arrives at the promised time, is very friendly and professional, clearly knows his stuff, and shows you what's going on before (and after) he does the work. "We recently had NETR install a ductless system in our single family home, and the entire experience working with NETR was consistently impressive. At every stage of the process the folks at NETR were super responsive and helpful, and their professional approach resulted in a zero surprise and zero problem experience. After initially reaching out to NETR to inquire about their services they setup a consultation visit. Russell Dodd arrived to review our property, listen to our needs and concerns, and recommend a solution. Russell is a friendly guy with many years of experience with ductless installations and had all sorts of clever suggestions on how to make this installation work best in our home. It's worth noting we also had 2 other top rated competitor firms visit to conduct property reviews, and the people that showed up were significantly less experienced than Russell and clearly did not have the product knowledge or range of ideas that Russell shared during his visit. Within days of Russell's visit we had an installation quote/estimate in hand and after sorting out a few details with NETR we scheduled an installation date. The contract covered all the items we had discussed with Russell and was very straightforward. The NETR price was competitive and in the same ballpark as the other companies – but with far superior follow-up and consultant services. There were no surprises or unclear items listed on the NETR quotes, while the quotes we received from the other companies had some areas where costs were not entirely clear. On the day of the installation Jerry Odom arrived and was the technician assigned to lead our project. Jerry was super friendly and carefully took the time explaining his installation process, listened to and answered any of our questions, and immediately went to work. Over the course of the 2 full day installation Jerry quietly and skillfully pulled everything together and made sure the units were placed exactly where we had requested. He did an exceptional job hiding piping and basically making sure that the new units throughout the house were installed in a very clean looking manner. Jerry was joined by two colleagues at various points during the installation and all were equally competent and skilled professionals. From initial outreach to the final day of the installation we interacted with at least 5 different people from NETR. The staff working back in the office were also very professional and helpful at all times. We interacted with Eleni and even one of the owners at one point when calling to confirm installation dates. This is obviously a company that values taking great care of the customer and sets an expectation that their staff are all honest, helpful, responsive and fair in all interactions. NETR deserves all the superlatives that are used to describe their people, processes, and services. This is a business that clearly makes it a priority to take care of the customer and deliver top quality work. We are very happy that we chose NETR over other vendors and would recommend them to anyone looking to install a ductless system."
