"This is the closest category I could find for what I had done and know that they do this type of work. I hired this company to install a french drain in the back of my yard. There is a hill behind me and the grade from the house made the water collect in a swamp with nowhere to go. They did a great job of trenching out the entire width of that area, added perforated pipe with a filter cloth and gravel, then replacing the topsoil. They put a well with a sump pump at the end and tubing to pump the water out to the front of the house so it would go into the drainage system. Mike Jr., Brandon Powers, Eric Lawhon and Mike Houtchins were the team of workers and did a great job cleaning up afterwards also. It was a pretty large project but it only took them two days to complete. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend them."

"Prior to choosing ABS, I received several quotes and made my final decision based ABS being family owned and operated. When I received my quote from Aaron, he inspected my crawl space and outside my home. He took several reading of the moisture throughout the wood. Aaron spent several hours going over all the issues he found. Time was not an issue for Aaron, as he explained the situation to us, he answered all our questions (sometimes twice) and was very polite. Now onto the days of installation, day one, Joe their lead engineer and crew arrived onsite. Joe was polite and knowledge of the job he was there to perform. He stayed in constant contact with me. Walked me through the process they were doing each day. They spent 5 days due to the size of the job. On day 4 is where they had issues, some larger jobs tends to have unexpected complications. They had to call in more support and because this is a family owned company even the owner showed up. They took the time to explain to me what was happening and what they did to fix the issues. •        Frank's team at Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement identified that my cracked basement wall and fireplace foundation had settled 1 1/2" along one side of my home, and needed 12 piers installed to lift and stabilize the foundation to prevent further cracking.    Frank provided a competitive estimate for pier jacking, based on other pier jacking I had had done on a front porch and laundry room slab, but he used a far more sophisticated technology than the other company I had used in the past.
•        They first removed a 560 sq foot cedar deck, then excavated with a Bobcat down to the base of the foundation wall.   The gentleman running the excavator operated with surgical precision, leaving a clean wall and trench for the next phase.   They preserved the shrubs I wanted saved, and the only ancillary damage was a pinched gas line for my bbq, which Frank had repaired immediately after the job was completed.   My wife was impressed that they salvaged the deck boards and reused them for roof joists on another project, and salvaged the old bricks from an underlying brick patio and provided them to another who needed a patio but could not afford bricks. 
•       The pier jacking involved driving 12 heavy steel pipes down to the solid subground (not down to bedrock) using a hydraulic press, then using those same presses and hydraulic rams to lift the foundation of the home 1 1/2 inches when all of the pipes were in place.  They then bolted and welded the pipes to the lifting flanges, making the lift permanent, and cut off the excess pipe.  The team brought in a Bobcat front loader to backfill the excavation after putting a waterproof sealant on the outside of the exposed basement wall, again operating it with surgical precision.  
•       Through the entire process, Frank and his team communicated what they were doing, and met the schedule that they had proposed.   The site was left very clean, with all of the debris removed and the area of the lawn that was covered with excavated debris was scraped clean and ready for reseeding. 
•       Frank was very responsive to my questions throughout the process, and left me with no surprises.   I wholeheartedly recommend Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement for any foundation work needed.

"To be honest, we chose HPC not so much related to their so-called permanent coating technology that they had touted so much about, but mainly to the Better Business Bureau?s Ethics in the Marketplace Award that they won.  Why?  We are proud to own a spectacular 3,200 sq. ft. two-story English Tudor home with walkout basement, but the biggest challenge for this type of home is that there is a lot of trim, which means: 1) ultra extensive caulking is required, 2) attention to detail so as to keep the trim paint color separated from the stucco paint color, and 3) number of cedar boards that require repair or replacement far exceeds that of a typical home.

First, Chris the Carpenter repaired or replaced all damaged & rotted cedar boards. A few days later, the paint crew came onsite.  They power washed the exteriors, scrapped old paint, put caulk in every crack and crevice, protected all windows with sheets of plastic or paper, painted and cleaned up daily, etc.  You know, all the things that you would expect a painter to do, the boring stuff.

What made HPC stand out, however, is how they responded to my very demanding requests.  Tucker, the leader of the team was very professional, respectful, and patient. Tucker consistently kept me informed, immediately responded to any of my questions, took my specific requests without any argument, and basically bent over backwards to make everything right, even if it means starting over. All in all, all we can say is that we are very pleased with a month worth of work.  The neighbors and co-workers kept mentioning to me how great of the job HPC has done."
