"I decided to rent out my house when I moved to a bigger house, but the bathtub looked terrible.  However, it's a very large, deep, cast iron tub, so I didn't want to have it removed.  The tub looked like someone tried to paint it at some point years ago, but most of it was chipped or scratched, making it look filthy no matter how clean it was. 
This company did an amazing job.  One lady came out, and after I let her in, I was able to run errands while she worked on the tub.  I think it took several hours, but I didn't have to be there, so it was no problem.  When she finished, the tub was absolutely immaculate! It looks like a perfectly white, porcelain tub, with no damage, scratches or wear of any kind. I think I had to wait about 24 hours to use it, but I cannot convey how amazing the job was.  The tenant thought I'd put in a new tub.  The plug and overflow pieces, which had previously been fairly corroded, discolored and ugly were also treated.  I couldn't be more pleased.
I'm sorry that I forgot to leave a review before now, but I'm glad for the Angie's List reminder that popped up and let me know!
Also, the price is a ballpark.  I remember that it was a few hundred dollars, and far cheaper than replacing the tub, even with a cheap insert.  She also left me with a care sheet, which described the best cleaners to use to prolong the perfect appearance.  Wonderful job!

"It went pretty good.  I had all the materials for them to use.  The kick plate was too tall.  Will need to find the right size.  The front door has a crack in it, which I thought would fill in with the wood filler.  It was in a bad spot, so when the stain was applied, it did not fill in. I will clear coat it, add the kick plate & insulation.   I will have John will come out again - will look at his coupons & get a list together.  Definitely need the porch light replaced soon.  We also discussed a possible electrical issue with the porch light - seems the builder /electrician (1988) may have connected the front light switch with the hall bathroom & bedroom lights.  I was glad that John was able to schedule me, it was 2 months!   John & Wayne were very nice & I will call again soon! "

"Wolf did a great job and did it quickly. This was a sliding glass door in a sunroom, which was originally a full Metal frame solarium "kit" installed in the mid 80's. The firm that installed the sunroom wanted over $450 to just come and look it to see if they could repair, but were recommending we just replace the door at approximately $5K?? Wolf came made some adjustments and lubricated the tracks...done and working great, at a mere fraction or the costs quoted by others. Plan to use him again in the future!"

When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
