"The work he did was fine but I was surprised to find out he doesn't do anything with carpets and since this was one of the reasons I needed a handy man , now I must arrange for and pay someone else to come out if I can get someone for this small job. And at 11.5 feet in stead of 10, he wanted $100 to replace porch light which I did not want to pay. He was nice enough but if there had been a choice. a non smoker would have been nice."

"sales rep arrived on time.  I gave him details of what I had seen and wanted. I wanted the existing tub and shower  removed and a walk in shower installed or built.  He told me he would build a better job than what I could buy and install.  Gave me a price and almost immediately discounted $1000.  When I asked how long it was going to take to do the job he said " three days by two men."  He described how the job would be done.  The man that did the job, pretty much did what was described to me.  The price was agreed at $8464.  Told me they could not do it for about 3 months because  they were so busy.  I signed up for the job.  I don't have the exact date the job was done.   Approx 1 month later I was called by the man doing the job and told he could arrive in an hour and start the job.  He arrived at noon worked till six and arranged to come back next morning at 7am.  The job was done and finished and he was gone by 11.30 that morning.  A total time of 11.5 hours.  I had not had any luck getting anyone in McAlester to come and give me a quote to do the job, I figured these men would have to travel back and forth to Tulsa each day, or stay overnight in McAlester for the three days  so I didn't expect McAlester prices.  The rep lied to me about how long it was going to take to do the job, to make his price sound reasonable.  I had a number of other jobs I wanted done and told him so.  I had the other jobs done by local tradesman that cost me $8300.  I hate to think what Community Builders would have wanted..  I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had used Air Roofing a couple of times before during an Angie's List inspection special.   When it came time for my father to put on a new roof I suggested he get a quote from David at Air Roofing.

David came out and looked over the roof, made suggestions, and sent a detailed quote (by email) the following day.   His quote was in line with the other quote I got, but his responsiveness to my questions far exceeded the other company.  Over the next several days, I probably sent over a dozen emails wanting additional information, clarifications, addresses of roofs he'd done, samples of materials, etc.   Let's just say he had to do some extra work before we agreed to the contract.   He was always very prompt getting back to me, either by email or phone.

We agreed to a price, signed a contract, and set a date for the following week.   The shingles arrived the day before work was to be started.   The next day the crew arrived early in the morning and worked late into the evening.   They finished up around noon the following day.    They tore off two layers of old shingles, replaced decking in a few areas, cut out and installed a ridge vent across the entire length of the top of the roof, installed 15 vents in the soffits, painted the plumbing pipes to match the roof, and did a great job of cleaning everything up.  David even made arrangements with another company to come out and install new gutters for us.   On the 3rd day, we did a final walk around and at that point we paid the full amount.  No money was requested until the work was completed.

"My neighbors had ROCA Roofing & Construction (ROCA) remove and replace their roof due to storm damage.  I was impressed with the quality of work and the expediency in which the job was completed.  ROCA had placed a sign in my neighbor’s yard, so I called the company to see if they would come and take a look at my roof.  A sales representative came to my home the same day and assessed the damage to my roof.  It was a very easy process.  The sales representative and the insurance adjuster worked together to prepare an estimate for replacing my roof.  The roof, vents and gutters were replaced and the exterior of my home was painted.  The sales representative went above and beyond the scope of work approved by the insurance adjuster.  I told him that I needed to move numerous concrete yard ornaments from my back yard to my front garden.  He offered to move the yard ornaments for me and did so the same day with the help of another sales representative.
