"I had an excellent experience with this garage door company. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They showed up on time, clearly explained what needed to be done, and completed the job efficiently and correctly. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and they made sure everything was working properly before they left. It's refreshing to deal with a company that takes pride in their work and puts the customer first. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing garage door installation, repair, or service. Great job start to finish!!"

"Great! They arrived as scheduled although Portland was under several inches of snow and ice and virtually shut down. During the repair he noticed the garage door wasn't fitting snug against the frame, causing air to enter the garage. To correct the issue he adjusted the garage door opener to apply more pressure to the door against the frame. And also ensured the garage door opener was properly functional since it frequently fails to complete it's close cycle. Clearly beyond the service we hired for, definitely above and beyond excellent customer service."

"The two installers, Darrin and Jerry were extremely professional. Showed up on time worked very quickly and were very careful about how they handled my new garage door. They were also very careful about the items in my garage. Cleaned everything up before they left and made sure all remotes and keypad were programmed and functioning perfectly. I learned that both guys had been with Central Oregon Garage for a long time both represented their company very well. Nice to know they sent the varsity to my house. Great guys great company and great products."

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
