Most of the homes in this area have either traditional or rustic interiors and I was a little worried about finding someone who could translate my aesthetic. I was so lucky to find Les on Angie’s List. Les has an amazing eye for design of all styles. He created two stunning custom mantels and the wall unit of my mid-century modern dreams. He’s in high demand for a good reason. His craftsmanship is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The European training is evident in the impeccable construction and detailing. "We hired Colton Lingle to turn our unfinished attached basement garage/workshop into a custom library with a window seat. It was a very comprehensive job with many different components (ex: removing/replacing garage door with interior/exterior wall and windows, HVAC access, installing lighting, installing/finishing/painting drywall and ceiling, custom made shelves, trimwork, flooring, etc). He researched what permits we needed and procured them for us. Then, every single day he turned up on time and worked all day until the job was finished, which was all done in a timely manner and with as little interference to our everyday home life as possible. His courtesy, good manners, and professionalism were unparalleled, and very greatly appreciated, especially considering the environment he had to work in, as we weren't even unpacked yet, and we have five large dogs, you can imagine the chaos. He cleaned up after his work and was very careful with all our things. He very generously even tackled a few other tiny projects around the house, as well as gave us good advice about maintenance and future projects in other areas of our home. The quality of his work is masterful. Our new library is flawless and beautiful, and it is precisely what we asked him for. We can't recommend Colton Lingle highly enough. You couldn't find a better contractor if you built him from the ground up yourself."

"We had David's team build a new 16' X16' deck off our back porch for a Jacuzzi and install a new French door, leading out to the deck. First and of great important to us, David communicated regularly with us both before and after giving us a quote. We agreed on a start date and he and his team showed up on the agreed date and on time. His build team (Drew [foreman], Hunter and Tyler) were exceptional!! They worked carefully and consistently throughout the build. We were very impressed with the care and accuracy they took laying out the footings and making sure everything was strong, level and plumb. They even made sure not to get the deck muddy. One or two who worked on top, never went down into the muddy area under the deck. The designated "muddy" person fed them whatever they needed from below. The deck was "pristine" when they were done. The deck was built in Jan 2022, so we had a couple snow days, but they returned immediately after the roads cleared. The build took about 5 working days. We cannot overstate the professionalism. attention to detail and dependability of David and his crew!!! They have our highest recommendation."

"I'll start by saying I chose Matt because of the reviews here on Angie's List and the photographs of his work on his web site. Matt doesn't come cheap, and we did have significantly lower bids for this job. We felt that these built-ins were going into our great room and needed to look good, like a piece of furniture. We felt confident that Matt could deliver the quality craftsmanship we wanted for this project, and decided the extra cost was justified. Matt suggested a bench under each window with storage and doors below and a Cherry top (seat) on the benches. We decided on a scribed fit against the fireplace, which meant Matt would have to cut the bookshelves to mate with the rock fireplace. Matt shared his plan to build the bookshelves in his shop, described the materials being used and the process he would use to paint the exposed surfaces, gave us a rough date for completion and assured us we would be happy with the result. On installation day, he showed up with his partner Josh and each took a side of the fireplace to work on. They spent the entire day installing our built-ins, and even had to finish up a few details on the following day. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the result. The built-ins look great, and have that quality furniture look we hoped for. The sprayed on lacquer finish is awesome and durable. What an improvement in the room!"

"Eldridge and his crew did a great job for us, completely repainting our house and a very large deck. Eldridge is not only an artist, he is a skilled carpenter and was able to diagnose and fix a leak on a chimney, as well as replace all wood and trim so that it looked as good as new. He was very patient in allowing us to take our time to select just the right colors, and he even custom mixed a wonderful slate gray ("Eldridge Gray") that now covers the deck. There were some rain delays, but Eldridge was there every time that it was possible to work on the house. He was always on site supervising his workers. "I called Mike in the morning just hoping he would be able to come by and give me an estimate in a day or two. He said he would be working in my area and would call me that afternoon when he was clear. He called me back exactly when he said he would and arrived within 30 minutes. He gave me a quick estimate which was a fair price for the work to be done. It was late in the afternoon but he said he would do the job while he was there. He was very careful not to harm the siding on the house or my plants and flowers. He finished just before dark. It wasn't  until the next day that I could see what a good job he did. All the mold, mildew and dirt was gone and the house and decks looked great. I was very pleased with his work. Would definitely hire Mike again and would recommend him to my friends."
