"The response time and follow-up by Texan Water was absolutely amazing despite this recent winter storm in Texas. We were out of water dur to frozen broken pipes and pump. Getting any other company to just answer their phones or even get back to us was impossible. After searching through about 11 different companies (plumbers and well repair services -- anyone) Texan Water not only answere their phone, but immediately got us in touch with Austin to schedule our service. They were overwhelmed with calls and work orders, but they came through for us no matter what. Now we have running water again and the repair was done in the same day! I HIGHLY recommend Texan Water for anyone who wants good old fashioned customer service and want to deal with people who really care."

"Our house is on top of a hill, our well is at the bottom of the hill, the well pumps water into a 1500 gallon tank next to our house on top of the hill. Our water is pumped into the house via booster pump. We had no water to the house, and I checked the holding tank to find it empty. I thought for sure my below surface pump was defective. I called Bee Cave Drilling on Saturday morning on Labor Day Weekend and they came out promptly, and found the problem, by the way, was not the submerged pump. They were professional and very well qualified. If we have any more well problems, you can be sure I'll call Bee Cave Drilling first!"

"I found the owner Paul Motal to be very honest! He needed to replace the 20 year old well pump. Using the size before, he found it didnâ t pull as much water. He said it would work for a few years but really needed more pull. He was leaving town the next day but came back the next morning to replace with a better suited pump. He didnâ t have to tell me since the pump they got would work for a while but I am so grateful that he was looking out for my best interest even though it delayed his leaving out-of-town! Also, Paulâ s workers were fast, efficient, and respectful. They also replaced the control box because it was 20 years old too and corroded! Yaayyy...I have water again!"

"We had no water coming from the well. Bret came out quickly and resolved the problem in a short period of time. He also helped us get a good understanding of how the system works and why we had the problem. The pump wasn't pumping because the 'pump saver' was doing it's job, protecting the well pump from pumping dry. Their calm and professional support was so helpful to reducing a stressful event. I highly recommend them for jobs big and small. Good people."

"We had a water leak in the yard and they came out fast and fixed the broken pipe in our yard. We also had them replace a kitchen faucet and 2 shower heads another time. Very pleased with the service. They are professional and friendly. Will definitely use them again. Highly recommend."

"Andrew communicated well and quickly came to see the issue with my pool plumbing. He found me a cheaper option with the same quality RPV valve. He even added release valves to drain pipes before freezes to prevent future damage. The job was completed within 30 minutes and he could have charged me a lot but he gave a very reasonable price which I will continue to use his company. Glad I found him and his company. Good quality customer service that is hard to find these days. Definitely recommend."

"If you have a leaky basement or are thinking about building a new house with a basement, don’t even consider using anyone except Willie and The Basement Kings. We rebuilt a lake house in 2012 that was destroyed in a wildfire, and the walkout basement flooded every spring. The builder spent thousands of dollars trying to fix it, but it flooded eight times in five years. I found The Basement Kings on Angie’s List, and Willie met me at the lake house the next day. He thoroughly inspected the basement and told me exactly what the problems were and how to fix them. Willie has an impeccable work ethic. He and his crew finished their work today. We have a lifetime guarantee that the basement will stay dry. He took photos of the work every day and texted them to my husband. It was hard, tedious, dirty work, but Willie takes pride in doing the job right, and his price was fair for the amount of work and materials involved. This guy eats, sleeps and dreams about basements. SO glad we hired him. You will be too!"

FAQs for well pump repair or service projects in Marble Falls, TX

A standard well inspection begins with a visual inspection of the pump, casing, storage tank, and wiring, followed by flow rate tests and laboratory-based water sampling. The goal is to confirm that every part meets safety standards and to identify any necessary repairs before they become expensive. An inspector will also test your water quality for substances such as volatile organic compounds and any local containment concerns.

Book a licensed, insured well specialist for your inspection. Many well‑pump contractors also hold inspection credentials. They’ll bring the right tools to assess the pump, wiring, and water quality, and provide you with a clear report on any necessary fixes. Before you hire, confirm their license, insurance, and recent customer reviews.

Plan on a full well inspection every year. You’ll also want one any time the cap comes off, after septic repairs, or if flooding occurs. Annual tests look for total and fecal coliform; every two years, the lab should screen for metals and nitrates, and every five years for VOCs and pesticides. If you’re buying a home with a private well, it’s essential to schedule a pre-purchase inspection.

With routine care, most wells supply clean water for up to 40 years. Lifespan depends on the type and how well you protect it. To help it reach the maximum lifespan, keep hazardous products far from the casing, ensure the cap stays sealed, schedule yearly inspections, and address problems as soon as they appear. Good habits keep the system healthy and the water safe.

The average cost of well repairs ranges from $100 to $2,800. Your final bill depends on which part—pump, pressure tank, casing, or piping—needs attention and the level of complexity involved in the repair. A thorough inspection identifies the problem, allowing you to budget accurately and avoid paying for unnecessary parts or services.
