"Went well. The attic stairs we’re broken while removing / installing new furnaces. Dayco without any delay ordered new stairs to be installed. We had an issue with not using material to cover hardwood floors and did get some small scratches. We did review this complaint and they did offer to send a flooring co to repair"

"My existing HVAC system was at the end of its serviceable life, so I needed a new system. I sought quotes from 5 different companies...3 big, name-recognizable companies in the Atlanta area, as well as 2 companies from Angieslist that I had not heard of before. Thank goodness for that! When Steve came out for the quote, he pointed out all of the things that would need to be updated, and didn't try to upsell me on a Platinum or Gold-level solution that honestly made little sense in my small 60s ranch house. The install on my unit was seamless, and significantly faster than I anticipated. I'd happily recommend Premier to anyone, and am looking forward to a long, happy relationship with an HVAC service provider."

"I was struggling with a vendor who installed a new AC and furnace 3 years ago that required service every year. The Guardian team was able resolve the issue in 2 days at a fraction of the cost the original installer quoted. Technician Josh Bennett was able to isolate the problem in 30 minutes. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and very professional. HVAC Service Expert Dave Dover arrived the next day to complete the required repairs and washed the outdoor system. My wife and I could not be happier with Guardian service. We joined their Shield Protection Plan Membership."

"I am very satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism of this company. I called them to make numerous repairs (listed below) that found during inspection of my new home. The repairman, Jeremy, was very respectful and efficient. Based on research, I believe the company's prices are reasonable, and I'm not looking to go bargain-basement on electrical repairs. I want quality. In about 2-3 hours, Jeremy (with the assistance of a colleague he called in once it was clear there was more work to do), made the following repairs for $1,154: 1) repaired defective GFCI; 2) repaired two sets of spliced wires and added two junction boxes; 3) repaired plastic couplings at the connections between the electric utility wire and the house main wire; 4) added connectors to all unsecured wiring in my electrical panel and labeled breakers; 5) and identified and repaired a "double-tap" wiring situation in my kitchen. Furthermore, Jeremy suggested a more cost-effective way to fix my dryer situation: recording (~$150) vs. changing the outlet (~$600). Luckily, once my dryer arrived it turned out it was three-prong and thus fit the old-style outlet so I didn't need to do either. But I still appreciated his honesty about my options. I would definitely call TE Certified Electricians again — particularly since they sent me a "5% off for life" coupon after this service."

"I want to give a review of the Exceptional service that I received today from Cool Air Mechanical service technician Enri Jasmin. If I could give higher than a 10 star I would. When Enri first arrived he assessed the unit to see where Freon was leaking from. He went into the attic & did a leak test, which wasn't finding where the leak was coming from. He made great efforts to locate the problem both inside & outside. I had 2 other technicans look into the problem prior & wasn't able to find the problem. Enri was so professional & thorough in his analysis. I couldn't be more satisfied with his service. My AC unit upstairs is working perfectly. Just truly EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!! Ms. Bowden"

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in Marietta, GA

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
